From a state of psychedelic-induced ego death, through painful revelations and onward into a realm of new desires, these four very personal tracks are the direct result of the artist's own therapeutic process of self-exploration and expression undertaken during a tumultuous year of change. Utilising decidedly minimal instrumentation as the backdrop to the emotional weight of the voice and words, each song represents an individual step within an exhausting but ultimately affirmative transformation.)

Mentallo and the fixer

( ;D --> Mentallo and the Fixer is the industrial brainchild of two brothers from Texas, Gary and Dwayne Dassing. Mentallo and the Fixer derived its name from a pair of comic book characters whose origins have long since faded into obscurity.The Dassing brothers were raised on rock music, so their first instruments were actually the guitar (Dwayne) and drums (Gary). However, this changed when the pair discovered a number of new wave bands whose music was heavily saturated with synthesizers. Dwayne specifically lists the Cars, early Orchestral Manouevres in the Dark, and especially Gary Numan as strong influences to Mentallo and the Fixer.)

( ;D --> The duo was officially formed in 1993 by Erik Garcia a.k.a. Erk Aicrag (lyrics and vocals) and Oscar Mayorga a.k.a. Racso Agroyam (Programming), but both cousins had been experimenting with electronic music, mixing industrial and EBM, since they were fifteen years old. Their music can be described as electro-industrial. Erk Aircrag and Racso Agroyam incited to express their feelings through technology. Given the influence of varying currents of electronic music (mainly Skinny Puppy) they began their trajectory in 1989 in a project called "Niñera Degenerada". Their lyrics are both in Spanish as well as English. The Spanish word hocico means snout, and is used in Mexico as a disrespectful way to describe someone's comments coming out of their mouth.)
