( ;D --> Alice Glass is a Canadian singer best known as the former vocalist of electronic band Crystal Castles. Alice Glass was born in 1988 in Toronto, Ontario. Her birth name is rumored to be Margaret Osborne. At the age of fourteen she ran away from home to live in a squat community of punks under the name Vicki Vale (named for the comic book character) and started an all-girl crust-noise band called Fetus Fatale. Though she continued going to school, she dropped out before graduating. Ethan Kath, impressed by Glass's performance with the band, gave her CD-Rs with 60 instrumental tracks of which she chose to write vocals for. In 2008, before the band's interview with Now Magazine, Glass disappeared and neither Ethan nor the band's manager could contact her. Crystal Castles was infamously shut down at Glastonbury 2008 after Glass climbed a speaker stand just before "Alice Practice" and was swallowed by the crowd during "Yes No".)

( ;D -->  It is said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so one could argue that upon seeing the cover arts and listening to Austrian act NZ’s that the band is paying Nitzer Ebb the highest possible compliment. However, this writer would argue that given that an entire genre of music has practically grown around Nitzer Ebb’s influence, with numerous bands adopting the seminal act’s punkish mix of aggressive beats, catchy synth loops, and shouted phrases and manifestos and even developing more intricate and varied styles around it, the music world is well past the need for such blatant imitations to occur.

Several concerts, including the legendary Wave-Gotik-Treffen in 2010 and as the opening act of the Swedish Synthipopband Elegant Machinery, the band could been denied. In addition, we know the two heads of the band also from various other musical projects. So Niko Kötzsch hired as well as in industrial band 1979. He also created many already remixes (e.g. for Haujobb, Seabound, Minerve, Halo Effect). Robert Grolms is also singer and pianist at Acoustic Mode, a Depeche Mode coverband. He also lends his voice to the rock project Suspicious Ones. The current production was, inter alia, in Leipzig, Munich, Frankfurt/Main and Weilheim in Oberbayern added. The band was supported here by none other than Daniel Myer (Architect, Haujobb, formerly collaborated on Covenant, already intensively with Alan Wilder).)

( ;D --> Cold Showers, a band formed in Highland Park, California in 2010, fuses the brash power of their shoegaze pedigree with the smokey compulsions of post-punk / no-wave ancestors. Cold Showers would fit in well amongst their idols on the Factory or early Rough Trade back catalog, but blend in perfectly amongst the unique foliage of the Dais Records roster. Cold Showers sophomore album out sees the band step up to the plate with more pop sensibility under their belt with the tracks of their new album “Matter of Choice”. This is the pervasive pop mode against which Cold Showers cast themselves, but haven’t fully relinquished themselves from their signature piston-precision rhythms and anthem laden synthesizer illuminations that came about within the band’s formation. After the band released singles on Mexican Summer and Art Fag, Cold Showers signed with Dais Records. In the late summer of 2012, Dais had released the band band’s debut album, Love and Regret, to a storm of industry praise and critical acclaim. After a few successful tours with bands such as The Soft Moon & Veronica Falls, Cold Showers members decided to take some time off to start crafting new songs in a more pop-oriented direction. These songs started to take demonstrational form in a handful of singles and live cassette releases on Dais until the band decided to hunker down in the studio to formalize the songs found on their new album, Matter of Choice, available August 28th, 2015.)

As recently as last year, he began releasing material under his new moniker and quickly garnered support from the likes of Erol Alkan and Chloe, for his steely new noise-based approach. Another major fan he found was British techno master Andrew Weatherall, who has stepped up to remix his latest release "Pollux". In its original form, the track is an other-worldly stomper, but once in the hands of Weatherall, things get even more cosmic. Employing a few whirling guitar lines, and a healthy dose of dark pad synth, the track takes on a acidic new character.)
