For example, his Zend Avesta project (Organique, Universal 2000) married electronic music with a chamber orchestra. With his analogue synthesisers, he became a central figure on the scene of new international techno, marking renewed enthusiasm for the use of electronic instruments rather than just computers. His live shows have always been unanimously celebrated (Music Components, Citizen 2008, Someone Give Me Religion, K7 - 2010) and his remixes for pour Depeche Mode, David Guetta, Rammstein, The Rapture, Bloc Party, Acid Washed and Tristesse Contemporaine are as indicative of his sets at the biggest clubs and festivals (playing live or mixing) as his collaboration with the highbrow Groupe de Recherches Musicales, especially with Christian Zanési for their Frontières project.)

Although Plaid pre-existed the association, the duo's Ed Handley and Andy Turner spent most of their early recording years with Ken Downie as the dancefloor-confounding Black Dog Productions. It was because of his music that Len teamed up with several of the early pioneers of electronic music. When ANNE CLARK heard Len’s remix for ‘Sleeper in Metropolis’, Implant became the electronic live band of ANNE CLARK for 5 years, resulting in guest contributions of Anne on 2 albums (‘Audio Blender’ and ‘Self Inflicted’). The KLF
http://klf.de/home/
( ;D --> The KLF(also known as the Justified Ancients of Mu Mu, the JAMs, the Timelords and other names) are a British electronic band formed in London in 1987. Bill Drummond (alias King Boy D) and Jimmy Cauty (alias Rockman Rock) began by releasing hip hop-inspired and sample-heavy records as the JAMs. As the Timelords, they recorded the British number-one single "Doctorin' the Tardis" and documented the process of making a hit record in a book, The Manual (How to Have a Number One the Easy Way). As the KLF, Drummond and Cauty pioneered stadium house (rave music with a pop-rock production and sampled crowd noise) and ambient house. The KLF released a series of international hits on their own KLF Communications record label and became the biggest-selling singles act in the world in 1991. From the outset, the KLF adopted the philosophy espoused by esoteric novels The Illuminatus! Trilogy, making anarchic situationist manifestations, including the defacement of billboard adverts, the posting of cryptic advertisements in NME magazine and the mainstream press, and unusual performances on Top of the Pops. In collaboration with Extreme Noise Terror at the BRIT Awards in February 1992, they fired machine gun blanks into the audience and dumped a dead sheep at the aftershow party. This performance pre-announced The KLF's departure from the music business and, in May of that year, they deleted their entire back-catalogue. With the KLF's profits, Drummond and Cauty established the K Foundation and sought to subvert the art world, staging an alternative art award for the Worst Artist of The Year and burning one million pounds sterling.)

( ;D --> Producing sophisticated psychedelic Chill Out music is a discipline within the electronic music scene that is similar to playing Jazz in a certain respect: It needs maturity and extensive musical experience to go beyond the scope of standards, to become really good and extraordinary. This might have to do with the fact that this kind of music is not aiming a busy dance floor, rising its hands and shouting out loud during the breaks. Instead of that, it is made for the individual mind and therefore includes a less functional but pretty intellectual, mature and also very artistic moment. Seen in front of this background, the history of Koan gives some interesting hints about the astonishing musical quality of this Russian duo.)

( ;D --> Aesthetische is the musical return of Fab Viscardi and Gui Pires of Aghast View and Biopsy to the hard industrial dance / electronic scene after a hiatus of almost 8 years! Aesthtetische’s electronic sound aims at diversity on the EBM genre and carries craft and complexity to the composition paired with a well rounded production and modern programming technique. Tracks vary from mid tempo solid EBM to more fast paced outbursts of synth layers and beats. Aesthetische is influenced by all sorts of electronic music, not only hard electronics, but all forms of electronic expression. Influences from Rock, world music, contemporary music also play a part on AE’s sound.)

Sierra

( ;D --> Sierra has no desire to hide as she wanders through the valley in the shadow of the strange. Sierra’s self imposed exile has taken her through the winter desert, formerly Paris, on a quest. It has been far from straight forward: Land pirates, cannibals, the occult, and former virtual reality junkies desperate for their next hit, all lurk in even the furthest reaches of this vast waste land. Sierra, no matter how arduous this task, the force is too great to resist. To be master is something she cannot walk away from. Our post-apocalyptic world has ravaged life as we remember it, and only a few have the power to lead us to either the light or the dark. Which side is Sierra on? In a land set in a steampunk western, her intentions could go either way.)

( ;D --> Burial is an electronic musician from South London. His eponymous debut album was released in 2006 to critical acclaim. The Wire magazine named it their album of the year and it came fifth in the Mixmag 2006 Album of the Year list. On Friday, September 28th 2007, a new Burial album was announced, and Untrue was released 6 weeks later on November 5th. Although both albums have been met with much critical acclaim, Burial remained anonymous until August 2008, stating in a past interview that “only five people know I make tunes”. In February 2008, The Independent reported that Burial was an alumnus of south London’s Elliott School named William Bevan (another alumnus, Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard, said in 2006 that Burial was in the year above him). The school’s alumni also include Kieran Hebden aka Four Tet, with whom Bevan has collaborated.)

( ;D --> Born in 1980 in Melbourne, Australia, Ben Frost relocated to Reykjavík Iceland in 2005 and working together with close friends Valgeir Sigurðsson and Nico Muhly, formed the Bedroom Community record label/collective. The music of Ben Frost is about contrast; influenced as much by Classical Minimalism as by Punk Rock and Metal, Frost's throbbing guitar-based textures emerge from nothing and slowly coalesce into huge, forbidding forms that often eschew conventional structures in favor of the inevitable unfoldings of vast mechanical systems. His albums, including Steel Wound (2003), Theory of Machines (2007), BY THE THROAT (2009) and A U R O R A (2014) fuse intensely structured sound art with militant post-classical electronic music, shape-shifting physical power with immersive melody, concentrated minimalism with fierce, rupturing metal.)

After a couple of years on those speakers, people noticed his unique sound, Maksim continued to explore and extract something new every day. Some time later Maksim Dark has already managed to impress the world such as the Dubfire, Richie Hawtin, Olver Huntemann - with his groovy techno brand.)

After the Austrian artist has achieved worldwide chart breaking success with his other projects L’AME IMMORTELLE and SIECHTUM in the past 11 years, he returns to his roots: the boiling dancefloors of industrial and goth clubs alike Inspired by numerous years of Djing NACHTMAHR> is the missing link between merciless and provocative Industrial and the hammering power of Techno. The first release “Kunst ist Krieg (=art is war)” and it’s club hit “BoomBoomBoom” instantly conquer the dancefloors and earn the band a slot on the soundtrack of the American block-buster movie SAW 4.)
