The music stands in the tradition of the past, but is characterized by a super-intense signature sound which is full of melancholy. The mysterious lyrics and the brilliant voice that seems to be absent and emotional at the same time add to the sinister mood of the tracks.
If you are only a little bit into Minimal Wave or Synthpop, you can't ignore Martial Canterel. And if you don't, this could be your entrance ticket into this musical territory!)

In fact, he can’t refer to himself as a musician, nor as a composer, nor as a songwriter. This vague term instead, allows him to move quite easily from one role to another, being always careful not to use the word 'artist'. He has played in different bands of his city, Leghorn, since 1994 (he is currently playing the bass in the project “Disvega” and the synth in the electronic duo “Promenade”). He begins to compose electronic music, by an old computer and few toy keyboards, as well as field-recording only in 2003.)

He purchased his first digital equipment at the tender age of 17 and immediately began to develop his own unique distorted wall of electronic sound. Otto Von Schirach. In 1998 Otto released his first demo, which got him signed to a 4 album deal with Schematic Records. In 2003 Otto worked on the Skinny Puppy album "The Greater Wrong of the Right" and then tour with them now 3 times. In 2004 Miss Kitten had Otto remix her "Professional Distortion" track for Nova Mute UK.? Otto's 2006 album, "Maxipad Detention", was released by Mike Patton's Ipecac Recordings to vast critical and fan accolades world-wide.His most recent album "Oozing Bass Spasms" is more dance sounding; elements of Booty, Electro, Breakcore, and Rave music all find a place in his bizarre universe.)
