( ;D --> The Black Dog is a British electronic music group, and was founded by Ken Downie along with Ed Handley and Andy Turner. Regarded as legends by some, the group are pioneers who, along with acts like Autechre, Aphex Twin, µ-ziq and LFO, came to define the techno movement known as intelligent dance music (IDM) in the early 1990s. Ed and Andy left to pursue their Plaid project, Ken continued with several different line-ups of Black Dog before choosing to work with Martin Dust and Richard Dust from Dust Science Recordings after a long break from the music scene.)

( ;D --> Evan Bartholomew, under the moniker Bluetech, produces his unique style of experimental noise from San Diego, CA. Classically trained on the piano for public performing, Bartholomew deviated from the traditional sounds and began to express the rhythms that sprouted from within him, and Bluetech was born. This resulted in his interpretation of nature's expression of being, a sound that is dronal ambient, downtempo, improvisational. He devoured the electronic potentials for musical expression and conveyed it in IDM, digidub, and psychedelic trance.)

Tapping into London’s rich musical heritage from Scott Walker to early 90’s Hardcore all the way through to UK Garage and House, Deadboy’s tracks somehow still share the same sense of futuristic melancholia as the first wave of Detroit Techno by the likes of Derrick May and Juan Atkins. Outside of Numbers, Deadboy spins R&B under the name of DJ Tearjerker and is one half of gameboy dancehall act Hyper Black Bass.)
