( ;D --> Plaid is a British electronic music duo comprising Andy Turner and Ed Handley, and based out of London. They are former members of The Black Dog and used many other names, such as Atypic (Andrew Turner) and Balil (Ed Handley), before settling on Plaid. They have collaborated with female singers Mara Carlyle, Nicolette and Björk. Although Plaid pre-existed the association, the duo's Ed Handley and Andy Turner spent most of their early recording years with Ken Downie as the dancefloor-confounding Black Dog Productions. Meshing well with Downie's vision of heavily hybridized post-techno and obscurantist thematics.)

( ;D --> Veteran electronic music artist Laurent Boudic strikes back with his 5th album transmission under the NÖVÖ moniker! “The Shortwaves” reveals an interesting return to the band’s darker roots, with a conceptual theme definitely offering space to sonic experiment: the skywave propagation. NÖVÖ’s characteristic vintage analogue synths and reflecting minimal melodies are invaded by viral distorted radio noises and contagious echoing samples which are manipulated and morphed into percolating bouncing beats or other repetitive melodic lines.)

( ;D -->Mobthrow is Angelos Liaros, a Greek musician, mastering engineer and sound designer for Native Instruments, originally from Athens but currently living and working in Berlin. Angelos Liaros was with Subheim’s Kostas K one of the founders of the Spectraliquid label and collective, which released music from (and organized concerts with) the likes of Cardopusher, Bong-Ra, Ebola, as well as Mobthrow’s very first EP, the raw and heavy “Mutant Dubstep vol. 3”. A relocation to  Berlin later, it’s not anymore only on stage that one will find Mobthrow, but also behind the scoring board (some of his short movies soundtrack being nominated for various prizes and festivals) or his computer keyboard, creating patches for music software and doing sound design for prestigious companies. Notorious for his trippy, highly energetic performances and a true master at combining sounds from very different sources,  Mobthrow carved his unique electronic niche sound throughout the years. Mobthrow has been praised for his remarkably organic yet modern music, which combine deep introspection and sheer energy, as demonstrated masterfully both on his eponymous album and on stage.)
