( ;D --> Autechre is an English electronic music group consisting of Rob Brown and Sean Booth, both natives of Rochdale, Greater Manchester. Formed in 1987, the duo are one of the most prominent acts signed with Warp Records, a label known for its pioneering electronic music and through which all Autechre albums have been released. While most associated with IDM (intelligent dance music), Booth and Brown are ambivalent in relating their sound to established genres. Their music has exhibited a gradual shift in aesthetic throughout their career, from their earlier work with clear roots in techno, electro and hip hop to later albums that are often considered more experimental in nature, featuring complex patterns of rhythm and subdued melodies. Autechre have also recorded under various pseudonyms. One of the duo's earliest recordings was a 12" under the alias Lego Feet, released in 1991 on Skam Records. The majority of releases by the mysterious "umbrella project" Gescom, most of them on Skam, have been attributed to Booth and Brown, among other artists.)

( ;D --> Australian indie electronic trio Cut Copy take many of their cues from contemporaries like Air, Daft Punk, and LCD Soundsystem, but with a distinctly pop sensibility that draws on classic AM radio pop singles from the 1970s and '80s, with elements of vintage disco and synth pop. The delicate popsound of Cut Copy relates to a smoth mixture of artists like Prefab Sprout, The Egg, China Crises, The Human Leauge, New Order, Roxy Music and The Cure, all topped of with a spice of Swayzak. - Not Bad at all.. :) ).

( ;D --> The Sabres Of Paradise, AKA Andrew Weatherall, Gary Burns and Jagz Kooner, released a clutch of acclaimed albums, singles and remixes between the years 1992 and 1995, when the trio disbanded. Three albums for Warp, remixes of The Future Sound Of London, Leftfield & Lydon, Bjork, New Order and The Dust Brothers (AKA Chemical Brothers), and not forgetting the now legendary ‘Smokebelch II’ single, which must have soundtracked hundreds of thousands of sunsets and chillout after hours over the years, have left a huge treasure trove of a catalogue as part of their legacy.)

( ;D --> One production though has gone down in Sabres folklore, since its release was limited to inclusion on one multi artist compilation CD album only, and it is this track, ‘Lick Wid Nit Wit’, that A Sagittariun has unearthed, licensed and re-moulded, 25 years after it was produced, for release on his Elastic Dreams label.)
