Monolake / Robert Henke

( ;D --> Monolake is an electronic music act based in Berlin. Originally consisting of members Gerhard Behles and Robert Henke, Monolake is now perpetuated by Henke while Behles focuses on running music software company Ableton. In fall 2004, Torsten Pröfrock became a member of Monolake. Monolake's minimal, dub-influenced techno music helped establish the sound of the Chain Reaction label, also located in Berlin, subsequently using their own [ml/i] (Monolake / Imbalance Computer Music) label for the group's output. Both current members have solo projects, with Henke releasing under his own name and Pröfrock as T++ and Various Artists. In 2008 T++ followed Ricardo Villalobos in bridging the gap between minimal techno and dubstep, by remixing Shackleton's Death Is Not Final for the Skull Disco label. In 2009, Robert Henke appeared in the electronic music documentary Speaking In Code which presented the completion of the Monodeck. Monolake is named after Mono Lake, which is east of the Sierra Nevada in California.)

( ;D --> The future of powerful, breathtaking electronic music by Extrawelt (Arne Schaffhausen & Wayan Raabe). Their sound incorporates minimal, progressive and techno, aimed squarely at blowing holes in sound systems. With more than 10 Original Productions and dozens of remixes, Extrawelts’ tank-like driving bass lines, powerful drum beats and blend of menacing, droning, echoing synths are impressing everyone from your 8 year old sister to some of the most prolific DJs in the world including Sasha, John Digweed, James Holden and Sven Vath. Early on Extrawelt’s productions quickly caught the ear of James Holden, who signed their first track to his own Border Community Label. James gave the track a working title “soopertrack” which stuck, and soon became a manifesto for their music, producing and releasing dance floor bomb after bomb, through labels including the Iconic Cocoon label, Traum, Great Stuff and Giant Wheel.)

( ;D --> Le Youth has been a constant force in dance music since his crossover hits 'C O O L' and 'Dance With Me' stormed the UK charts in 2013. Fast forward almost 7 years and numerous records, remixes and a quarter of a billion streams later, Le Youth continues to elevate his artistry with his recent offering "Aquiver EP" on Lane 8's This Never Happened imprint at the end of 2019.
Heavily inspired by the deep melodic techno and progressive sounds that came out of Europe from the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, Eric Prydz and more recently Lane 8, Yotto, and Ben Bohmer, Le Youth's decision to make new music made almost exclusively for the dance floor, was a deliberate one.)
