( ;D --> The journey of the happy fellas of Laut & Luise begins with nightly expeditions through a sometimes way to serious Cologne party landscape. In persuing their goal of transforming this dreary environment into a more color- and cheerful one they join forces with some odd fi gures: happy artists and audiophile equipment nerds alike, anyone who’s willing to experience emotions that can’t be found in everyday life is gladly
welcomed. Laut & Luise represents flawed love for detail instead of straight perfection. It strives for creating new space for this atmosphere and sound beyond the usual borders of party and nightlife.)

The monstrous soul vinyl edition
http://burningworldrecords.com/item/the-monstrous-soul-ltd-ed-green-vinyl-lp2
( ;D --> "The Monstrous Soul" was conceived in Sheffield in 1990 by B. Lustmord and Clock DVA founder Adi Newton. First released by London label World Serpent, it followed the seminal and highly influential dark ambient album "Heresy" (Soleilmoon SOL 9 CD). Although the release dates were barely a year apart, "The Monstrous Soul" marked a turning point for Lustmord, one that mapped the future more than it mirrored the past. Much more digital magic and electronic processing was employed this time, where much of the material on "Heresy" utilized acoustic sound sources and traditional analog recording technologies. "The Monstrous Soul" dedicated itself to creating a environment of gloom in which the listener was totally enveloped by an hour long soundscape best described as a journey through a frozen hell. At the time "The Monstrous Soul" was recorded, the legendary B. Lustmord resided in a squat in London, near the Oval cricket ground, just around the corner from David Tibet, founder of Current 93. It takes little imagination to connect the bleak visual landscape of south London's worst slum to Lustmord's grim electronics. This wasn't simply a fantasy video game soundtrack, it truly reflected the environment from which is came.)

Apparently it was then that PS noticed Jinxy's unusual voice, and, well, it seems safe to say that he was quite intrigued by what he heard. After discovering their common passion for dark music, macabre arts and rebellious humor, the two became friends and soon decided to start a band together. Santa Hates You's music is straight forward dark-electro, with industrial traits and extremely danceable beats on one side, and catchy sequences as well as gothic and electro-punk elements on the other. While the band describes their sound as "juicy electronic-gothic-industrial", many others have tried, in the course of the last years, to characterize the Santa Hates You - style.'A musical maelstrom';'The perfect soundtrack to the Mad Hatter's tea party'; 'Bizarre and grotesque like some kind of sexy freak show')

His music is not easily to be categorized, as most of his releases can be seen as exciting fusions of (deep) house, minimal, downbeat, and techno. Era Extrana
NI_amazon
( ;D --> dreampop pioneer and flaming lips collaborator neon indian releases his new album 'era extrana' with a startling bonus: a mini analog synthesizer designed by bleep labs and the man himself! the synth is a hand-held gadget which features two triangle wave oscillators which can be activated independently or together, modulating each other and swappable controls which allow you to easily attach the included potentiometers or photocells - or a number of other devices - in any configuration to the three oscillators to create all kinds of chaos. 'era extrana' sees the chillwave wizard boldly step out from the synth surf just enough to make himself heard. previous work focused on the hooksome grooves of drum vs. synth, all but buring the vocals but here alan palomo clears his throat and sings out. there's more of an electro-pop angle here which is rooted in vintage 80s synth work and while the production is still lush and blurred by echo and reverb it's a true pleasure to hear the drums hit a little harder and the melodies a little clearer. the result is a crucial pop album that makes you dance and stare wistfully as the sunset falls on a lost summer.)

GusGus' music is eclectic, and although primarily classified with techno, trip-hop and house music, they have experimented with numerous other styles. They have also remixed several famous artists, including Björk, Depeche Mode, Moloko, and Sigur Rós. Added to this they released the song "Desire" with Ian Brown in January 2004. A remix of the track "Purple" appeared in remixed form on Paul Oakenfold's successful trance compilation called Tranceport. The band's name refers to the 1974 German film Ali: Fear Eats the Soul by Rainer Werner Fassbinder, where a female character is cooking couscous for her lover, pronouncing it "Gus Gus".)

Com Truise
www.myspace.com/iamcomtruise
http://comtruise.com
( ;D --> Com Truise is one of the many personas of producer and designer Seth Haley, born and raised in upstate New York and operating out of a 12’-overrun apartment in Princeton, New Jersey. An admitted synth obsessive, Com Truise is the maker of an experimental and bottom heavy style he calls “mid-fi synth-wave, slow-motion funk”.
What do you call musicians like Com Truise? He seems easy enough to pin down—throw out some words like “nostalgia,” “synth-wave,” “eighties,” and “electro-funk” and you’ll scrape by—but to be truly insightful about his music is tough, because art that is so blatantly referencing certain things in a certain way while also making them weird and new and unique is confusing. How do you classify something that is so obviously both vintage and current but is too fun to call postmodern?)

Lackluster

( ;D --> One of a kind is indeed the expression, which best describes the electronic music auteur Esa Ruoho, regardless whether we are talking about the organic quality of his music under the artist name Lackluster or just the artist himself in his private life. Esa Ruoho is truly an original; a homegrown and uncompromising composer and an eccentric explorer of science and nature, whose artistic career might seem at first glimpse to be just a sum of happy accidents. However, the illusion quickly dissolves after carefully examining his biography. Instead of coincidence, there is only talent and hard work.)

( ;D --> London based musician Matan Zohar taught himself to produce dance music at 13 years old, and by 16, he had taught himself to DJ. By mid-2007, Mat Zo had remixed for Andy Moor, Markus Schulz, and he became a DJ household name after Tiesto hired him to remix "Driving To Heaven", and the remix appeared on Tiesto's internationally recognized "In Search Of Sunrise 7" CD compilation. Mat Zo quickly worked up the ranks to become one of the most sought after progressive dance music producers in history. He has played in such cities as Holland, Germany, Ukraine, Ibiza, India, and various cities in England. Mat Zo's global reach multiplied when his Zoned monthly radio program was picked up by Afterhours.fm the summer of 2008. In the past couple of years Mat Zo’s fearsome reputation has grown with th release of a swathe of stunning productions. “The Lost”, “Near The End”, “24 Hours”, “The Found”, “Superman” and the huge collaboration with Arty “Rebound” have been just some of the highlights of this prolific producer’s output.)

Pattern & Grid World

( ;D --> 2010 EP release from producer/musician Steven Ellison (AKA Flying Lotus). While the album Cosmogramma was high in concept and wide in musical collaboration, Pattern + Grid World pulls the focus back to Steven Ellison and his machines. These machines are speaking from the go, as "Clay" introduces itself in a fog of synth and vocoder and gives way to one of the many surprises here, the schizophrenic ping-ponging electro of "Kill Your Co-Workers". Drenched in alternating melodies, it's a synthetic counterpart to the grand string and harp arrangements of Cosmogramma, making acclaimed illustrator Theo Ellsworth's subtly psychedelic cover image of vision-through-noise all the more intimate.)
