( ;D --> The Berlin-based trio Solitary Experiments has long since understood the fact that good electronic music will require more than bringing together some synthesizer presets with some cuddly beats. With much emphasis on good song writing, catchy melodies and multi-faceted arrangements as on club-compatible beats and solid bass. The anthemic Electro-tracks keep the delicate balance between catchiness and a thorough dose of power that keeps them from ever drifting into Pop-muzak realms.)

( ;D --> Vromb (recording alias for Hugo Girard, real name Mario Girard is a Canadian electronic music act from Montreal. Vromb has been international active since 1992.
In the independent underground electronic music scene Vromb has a solid reputation. Vromb creates a unique sound consisting of industrial music, minimal techno rhythms, dense music layers and sci-fi sounds. It sometimes also includes the voices of his fictional character, Professeur Heurel Gaudot. The uniqueness of Vromb can be fully experienced during his rare live appearances. In fact, while electronic musicians will usually perform with a laptop, Vromb is performing with analog synthesizers.)

The band combines electronic and analog instruments, and is categorized by critics, depending on the publication, as electronic music, pop, avant-garde, post rock, IDM, ambient, neoclassical, krautrock, or electronica. Kreidler was the inscription on a t-shirt worn by Andreas Reihse on the day when the band Deux Baleines Blanches sought a new name. It was subsequently interpreted as a kind of anagram for Klein, Reihse, Schneider, Weinrich.)

( ;D --> Kirlian Camera are one of the pioneers of the Italian electronic scene.
Active since 1979 under the name SUICIDE COMMANDO, the band changes name in 1980 releasing the first demo-tape DAWN... and the self-titled mini-album in late 1981.
The early records contain a mix of synth pop and new wave/dance songs, while towards the end of the 1980s' Kirlian Camera's music has progressively become darker and darker, turning into a monumental electro-gothic sound. Nearly every release since then has explored different fields, from industrial to ambient, from experimental to trip-hop.
Mind of Kirlian Camera has always been Angelo Bergamini, coupled by many female vocalists as Simona Buja (1980-1987), Suzanne Reddington Gardner (1987), Bianca Hoffmann Santos (1988-1989), Emilia Lo Jacono (1990-1999) and Elena Alice Fossi (1999...).)

The fact that it’s also a whole hour long and never seems to wear itself out or provide an easy break-point in listening is equally admirable. In it Mr.Kitty has crafted a near perfect collection of songs, each one flowing into the next with a kind of cultivated certainty. As new synthpop goes it’s a corker of an album, looking over its shoulder to the past as it forges on ahead into a cool new future. Good stuff.”.)

( ;D --> During the recording of I DIE, Sins was inspired by death, specifically by his own death. The Japanese have a word “Aware” pronounced (Ah-Wa-Re), which translates roughly to “a gentle sadness towards the impermanence of things”. It's the concept that life and death are but two sides of the same coin. Sins is at one with death, embracing it with one hand while gripping life and living it to its fullest in the other. Aleister Crowley's Sabbath of the Goat sums up this concept nicely.)

The Legendary Pink Dots
www.myspace.com/thelegendarypinkdots
legendarypinkdots.org
( ;D --> The Legendary Pink Dots (LPD) are an Anglo-Dutch experimental rock band formed in London in August 1980. Although far outside the mainstream (in terms of their music and career path), LPD have released more than 40 albums, have a devoted worldwide following, and tour frequently. The story behind the band's name is a source of speculation because Edward has given multiple explanations behind its origins. The most plausible and common explanation traces back to the mysterious pink dots on certain keys of the band's main recording studio piano named "Osbert"; the dots that can be found at either end of the keys do not make any particular chord or scale pattern and the reason for them remains unknown to this day. The piano itself is still owned by one of the founding band members, April White, and can be found at her home recording studio in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire. Their music touches on elements of neo-psychedelia, ambient music, electronic music, tape music, industrial, psych folk, synth-pop, post-punk, progressive, jazz, noise, pop, and goth rock, with a distinctly experimental/avant-garde bent; their sound has evolved over time and remains distinctive, making it difficult to place the group into a concise style or genre. The group's overall sound combined with Ka-Spel's distinct lyrics and singing have earned comparisons to Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett;[1] the group also has links to the sounds of krautrock bands such as Can,[2] Faust, Brainticket, Magma or Neu! (whose "Super" they covered on the 1999 tribute album "A Homage to NEU!"), as well, to some post-industrial`pioneers as Nurse With Wound and the neo-folk of Current 93. Edward Ka-Spel has said their musical influences range from the likes of Abba to Iannis Xenakis. The Pink Dots also collaborated with Skinny Puppy's cEvin Key, forming a side project named The Tear Garden. Key also appears on the 1994 LPD album 9 Lives to Wonder. Others groups related to present and past Pink Dots members are Strange Attractor, Mimir and Minizza.)

Tuxedomoon
tuxedomoon.co
( ;D --> Tuxedomoon is an experimental avant-garde post-punk New Wave group formed in San Francisco, California consisting of core members Blaine L. Reininger, Steven Brown and Peter Principle, Luc van Lieshout and video artist Bruce Geduldig. Formed in 1977 by multi-instrumentalists Blaine L. Reininger and Steven Brown, then two students of electronic music at San Francisco City College, with technical assistance from video artist Tommy Tadlock, Tuxedomoon started playing salons and accompanying performances by The Angels of Light. Brown's connections to local theatre gave the band access to vocalists Gregory Cruikshank, Victoria Lowe, and, most frequently, Winston Tong. The band gained some level of recognition in 1978 when they opened for Devo. Michael Belfer, (guitarist), and Paul Zahl, (drummer) joined the band in time to help with the group's first EP, No Tears. Lowe left prior to the album's release in 1978. Soon afterward, Tong and Belfer left the group temporarily, and bassist Peter Principle joined the lineup. In 1979, the group signed to The Residents' Ralph Records, with whom they recorded their next two albums, Half Mute in 1980 and Desire in 1981, after which the band relocated to Rotterdam for a short time and moved on to Brussels, believing their sound better fit the electronic scene in Europe. In Brussels, the band soon created the score for a ballet by Maurice Bejart,  released in 1982 as "Divine". In 1983 Reininger left the group in order to pursue a solo career, and trumpeter Luc Van Lieshout joined. In 1985 Tuxedomoon had its largest success commercially with the international release of Holy Wars. Tong left the group again soon after its release. Multi-instrumentalist Ivan Georgiev was brought in to perform on the group's next two albums, 1986's Ship of Fools and 1987's You. The band remained inactive through most of the 1990s, although never technically broke up. On July 20, 2004 a reborn Tuxedomoon, consisting of Steven Brown, Blaine Reininger, Peter Principle, and Luc Van Lieshout released a new studio album, Cabin in the Sky. They continue to work and tour together and have since released Bardo Hotel Soundtrack in 2006, with upcoming projects coinciding with the group's 30th year anniversary, the Vapour Trails album and the boxed set 7707.)
