( ;D --> DSD was formed in April 2009 as a one man project. Their first work called "Spread the VIRUS...Western DECAY" was an independent release, and influenced by the dark electro/industrial scene from the early 80's with today's modern twist of industrial sounds. In September 2011, the second album, "There Is No Light Over Devil's Land" was released. A new member, Aubrey, joined during this time making the band the duo that exists today. DSD is an experimental project which combines influences from all music genres. It is not an easy listening $commercial$ act. You will hear sounds from our twisted aspect of view.)

After taking a year off focusing on producing other styles of music, Arp returned to dark electronic music under the vague name, “C/?/T” – a nod to his previous project. After a series of EPs and singles, including a release on the occult label Phantasma Disques, Arp changed the name formally to Corvx de Timor in November 2012.)

Marek Hemmann
www.myspace.com/marekhemmann
www.marekhemmann.com
( ;D --> Marek Hemmann has grown into the electronic music as a hunter, collector and true connoisseur of tones and sonics. It all began in the beginning of the 90’s with a guitar whose sonic spectrum was far too limited for him. The discovery of the samplers and the synthesizers suddenly opened new possibilities where the acoustic world could be conserved; it was now possible with sound and noise on synthesizers to create what the human ear has never before experienced. The reason for the sonic passion was delivered to him via the techno parties late 90’s in his home area of Gera which was soon a weekly anchor for electronic experimentation.)

The day after the demo version of ”My girl and I” was finished. They started to make songs at a daily basis in Nicklas’ studio where Christian’s love for monotone synth melted together with Nicklas’ pophits. One day Nicklas sold his Fender guitar and the band Kite was born.)

Desireless & Operation Of The Sun
desirelessoots.wix.com
antoineaureche.wix.com
( ;D --> Everything began while Antoine was studying at the conservatoire at the end of the 90s. He met, by playing classical music in the street, a band of progressive rockers, and it was the beginning of his first strong musical experience. With those new friends, influenced by bands such as King Crimson, Gentle Giant and Robert Wyatt, he created his first band, Thork, and produced two albums (Urdoxa, 2000 and Weila, 2004). Antoine continued his road alone, after his arrival in Lyon, and he created his acoustic project TAT, which allowed him to sign with the Swiss label Urgence Disk Records and to produce three albums (Quinta Essentia, 2006, Le Sperme De Tous Les Métaux, 2007, and Testament, 2010). The purpose of TAT is very experimental and spiritual: to make a musical alchemy. Through this project, TAT collaborated with several underground artists such as Le Chiffre, Vx69 of Punish Yourself, Laurie Lipton & Laurent Courau (from the Abode Of Chaos). Antoine finally created Operation Of The Sun, last improbable idea which allowed him to play a music which he had never played up to now: a retro-futuristic & dancefloor electro.)

Nobodisoundz
soundcloud.com/nobodisoundz
( ;D --> The Nobodisoundz project was born in 2008 (with a reference to the character of "Nobody "in Dead Man, a Jim Jarmusch film) I first started this sound-making project by cobbling together music samples, sounds, field recordings and the results of my fiddling with some software. These sounds completed my works and added an atmosphere within and around my paintings, subsequent installations and videos. With time, these sounds have gained a more and more important place and have become self-sufficient, no longer requiring any other medium. I look for dense, heavy, noisy, squeaky, tense and quiet atmospheres, which have to be both dark and bright at the same time.)

He has recently done a remix for Ryan Davis & Electric Rescue on Traum and a compilation track on "Tour De Traum V" which put him on the map as a skilful and serious recordings artist writing unique music. Roel also gave his debut on the Traum label night in Groningen's Grand Theatre together with Max Cooper, Mononoid and Ryan Davis in February.)

Tangent

( ;D --> While not much is known about Tangent (aka Robbert Kok and Ralph van Reijendam), this is their first proper release with Mindtrick Recordings. As the burgeoning imprint delves further into the recesses of abstract glitch and experimental audio science, they’ve further embedded their roster into a varied and utterly satisfying creative envelope. Such is the case for 1 mk2—a plethora of astronomical audio extrusions deliver a mechanical foray of post-industrial collisions between noise and melodious subatomic particles.)

Dunkelwerk consists of only one person; Martin V. Kester and is a pure studio project, not doing any live performances or any other public events. Flavor of the Week #19

Boards of Canada
www.boardsofcanada.com
( ;D --> Boards of Canada (commonly abbreviated BoC) are a Scottish electronic music duo consisting of brothers Michael Sandison (born 1 June 1970) and Marcus Eoin (born 21 July 1971). They have released several works on Warp Records with little advertising and few interviews, while also having an elusive and obscure back-catalogue of releases on their self-run Music70 label. They have also recorded at least four tracks under the alias Hell Interface. Boards of Canada's music is reminiscent of the warm, analogue sounds of 1970s media and contains themes of childhood, nostalgia and the natural world. Mike and Marcus have mentioned the documentary films of the National Film Board of Canada, from which the group's name is derived, as a source of inspiration. BoC's sound is a product of their use of analogue equipment, mix of electronic and conventional instrumentation, use of distorted samples as well as live and recorded lyrics, and their layering and blending of these elements. Because they avoid a purely synthetic sound, their music is often described as having a warm, emotive quality often meant to inspire nostalgia. This is helped by the use of samples from 1970s television shows and other media prevalent in the era of the brothers' shared childhood, especially the nature-inspired documentaries produced by the National Film Board of Canada.)
