( ;D --> Autechre is an English electronic music group consisting of Rob Brown and Sean Booth, both natives of Rochdale, Greater Manchester. Formed in 1987, the duo are one of the most prominent acts signed with Warp Records, a label known for its pioneering electronic music and through which all Autechre albums have been released. While most associated with IDM (intelligent dance music), Booth and Brown are ambivalent in relating their sound to established genres. Their music has exhibited a gradual shift in aesthetic throughout their career, from their earlier work with clear roots in techno, electro and hip hop to later albums that are often considered more experimental in nature, featuring complex patterns of rhythm and subdued melodies. Autechre have also recorded under various pseudonyms. One of the duo's earliest recordings was a 12" under the alias Lego Feet, released in 1991 on Skam Records. The majority of releases by the mysterious "umbrella project" Gescom, most of them on Skam, have been attributed to Booth and Brown, among other artists.)

( ;D --> Gonjasufi (born Sumach Ecks, aka Sumach Valentine, c.1978) is a rapper, singer, disc jockey and yoga teacher from San Diego, California and currently living in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ecks was born to a Mexican mother and an American-Ethiopian father. He has been releasing music since the early 1990s among the San Diego Hip Hop scene, notably with the Masters of the Universe crew. Ecks gained notice from Warp Records in 2008 after an appearance on Californian musician Flying Lotus' album Los Angeles, where he sings on the track "Testament". His Warp debut album, A Sufi and a Killer was released on March 8, 2010. Ecks' voice was described by Pitchfork Media as "a scraggly, scary, smoked-out croak that creeps like the spiritual offspring of George Clinton and Leadbelly". He attributes his singing voice to his day job teaching yoga when he had to "to project from my stomach more".)

Rockwell
www.myspace.com/shogunaudio
( ;D --> Rockwell constructs his drum & bass out of tiny noises that circle and pick at the song's foundation, always fluttering in some minuscule motion. The London-based producer is a hot commodity in the d&b community after only a few releases, and his first release after signing an exclusive deal with Shogun Audio only serves to intensify his personal quirks. It's not hard to see why he's so in demand, as his productions are dynamic and resoundingly clear, every element individually tangible in a genre where the basslines and thrashing drums often compete for which can cause the most hearing damage.)

( ;D --> The White Lies are a UK-based band from London. They originally formed as Fear of Flying but soon found new material they were developing no longer suited their old moniker. They are known for a sound that is both rich and dark, with Harry McVeigh's forceful voice taking center stage, adding weight and presence to the songs. Their lyrical content is suitably dark as well, with their song "Death" defining this position with the lyrics "I'll live on the right side, and sleep on the left. That's why everythings got to be love or death.")
