https://autechre.ws/warp.net/records/autechre
( ;D --> Autechre is an English electronic music group consisting of Rob Brown and Sean Booth, both natives of Rochdale, Greater Manchester. Formed in 1987, the duo are one of the most prominent acts signed with Warp Records, a label known for its pioneering electronic music and through which all Autechre albums have been released. While most associated with IDM (intelligent dance music), Booth and Brown are ambivalent in relating their sound to established genres. Their music has exhibited a gradual shift in aesthetic throughout their career, from their earlier work with clear roots in techno, electro and hip hop to later albums that are often considered more experimental in nature, featuring complex patterns of rhythm and subdued melodies. Autechre have also recorded under various pseudonyms. One of the duo's earliest recordings was a 12" under the alias Lego Feet, released in 1991 on Skam Records. The majority of releases by the mysterious "umbrella project" Gescom, most of them on Skam, have been attributed to Booth and Brown, among other artists.)

Dumont founded the dream pop group Autour de Lucie, whereas Hetier used to be the popular DJ Anti-Pop and Haetri played with Planet Zen.)

They are signed to French label Kitsuné Music and have released four singles to date: “Idealistic”, “Zdarlight”, “Jupiter Room”, and “Pogo”. Jens likens Digitalism’s songs to simple chapters in a complex novel about social interaction and attraction, with distorted bass lines and thumping rhythms comprising the punctuation.)

( ;D --> The story of Kite started when Christian Berg (Yvonne, Strip Music) asked Nicklas Stenemo (The Mo, Melody Club) to sing on one of Christian’s instrumental songs. The day after the demo version of ”My girl and I” was finished. They started to make songs at a daily basis in Nicklas’ studio where Christian’s love for monotone synth melted together with Nicklas’ pophits. One day Nicklas sold his Fender guitar and the band Kite was born.)

Their sound incorporates minimal, progressive and techno, aimed squarely at blowing holes in sound systems. With more than 10 Original Productions and dozens of remixes, Extrawelts’ tank-like driving bass lines, powerful drum beats and blend of menacing, droning, echoing synths are impressing everyone from your 8 year old sister to some of the most prolific DJs in the world including Sasha, John Digweed, James Holden and Sven Vath. Early on Extrawelt’s productions quickly caught the ear of James Holden, who signed their first track to his own Border Community Label. James gave the track a working title “soopertrack” which stuck, and soon became a manifesto for their music, producing and releasing dance floor bomb after bomb, through labels including the Iconic Cocoon label, Traum, Great Stuff and Giant Wheel.)

Salem
https://www.facebook.com/SALEMGROUP/
https://soundcloud.com/salem-official
( ;D --> Salem’s sound, nearly impossible to describe using mere words, derives from the early 90′s “Chopped and Screwed” remix techniques of DJ Screw/Swishahouse hip-hop — demonic, slowed-down vocals and tempos combined with Chicago juke/footwork and dubstep/grime derived beats layered on top of a darkwave/juke-triphop wall of sound that incorporates elements of noise, drone, industrial and dream-pop. With this demented fusion, Salem pioneered a sound that recontextualized their forebearers straight into a nihilistic k-hole.)

And he does fly! Around 100 times per year, visiting almost every continent each year. His gig diary ranges from dark underground clubs in Berlin to massive techno stages on world’s most renowned festivals. Apart from making his name in the DJ booth, he’s also a tireless producer. He mostly releases on his own imprint 1605, and most of his tracks end up on the very top of Beatport’s charts. After more than 25 years as a professional musician, he decided to use his experience and skills in the entrepreneurial world. Together with his managers, he founded a music- tech startup Viberate (www.viberate.com), where they are building the world’s greatest music platform.)

Leaether Strip
www.facebook.com/LeaetherStrip/
www.leaether-strip.com/
( ;D --> According to founder Claus Larsen, Leæther Strip is, and always will be, only him. Larsen was born on November 13, 1967 in Aalborg, Denmark. He first released music under the name of Leæther Strip in 1989. However, his 1995 release G.A.W.M.U.S. (Getting Away With Murder U. S.) included two early demos from 1982 and 1984, with the latter forming the unknown beginning of the band according to an interview conducted with Claus Larsen. In 1991, Larsen created a side-project called Klute in which he also remained the sole member. It can be argued, and is by many, that the sound of Leæther Strip throughout the early 1990s helped define what is today known as electro-industrial. In a search performed on MySpace on December 1st, 2008, 294 bands had listed Leæther Strip (or "Leather Strip") as a musical influence, although the true number of bands influenced by Larsen's work is undoubtedly much higher. In 1994, Claus Larsen drastically changed the sound of Leæther Strip, with the release of a synthesized semi classical album. Conceived as a soundtrack to a fictional film, it was named Serenade for the Dead. The releases since then have reincorporated electronic dance elements, and have redefined Leæther Strip into what Larsen calls, "symphonic electro".)

Koan
https://soundcloud.com/koanofficial
( ;D --> Producing sophisticated psychedelic Chill Out music is a discipline within the electronic music scene that is similar to playing Jazz in a certain respect: It needs maturity and extensive musical experience to go beyond the scope of standards, to become really good and extraordinary. This might have to do with the fact that this kind of music is not aiming a busy dance floor, rising its hands and shouting out loud during the breaks. Instead of that, it is made for the individual mind and therefore includes a less functional but pretty intellectual, mature and also very artistic moment. Seen in front of this background, the history of Koan gives some interesting hints about the astonishing musical quality of this Russian duo.)

www.facebook.com/DeFeKTelectro
https://electronicexplorations.org/
www.residentadvisor.net/dj/defekt
( ;D --> Matthew Flanagan is an electro head's electro producer, the kind that releases on niche labels catered to people who like exactly that kind of music. Transmuter, the second EP on Rob Booth's fledgling Electronic Explorations label, is easily his most prominent record yet, and it's got a more accessible sound to go with the territory. "Delusional" is all about the bassline. It's a concrete base for the throbbing distorted percussion, and it's got one hell of a hook, too. There's an unusual amount of space in "Drippin," which is mainly to make way for a metalic chord progression. The track fuses techno aesthetics with Drexciya-style synth blasts. Groove is paramount on Transmuter, and the butt-wiggling style is a direct contrast to the more abrasive elements that make up these tracks. It's most apparent on "Skitzo," which smooths out a searing acid line with an easygoing house strut. The excellent EP is rounded off with a brief diversion into wispy ambience that shows off the other aspects of Flanagan's range.)

( ;D --> Previously known as the voice of the bands Linea Aspera (with Ryan Ambridge) and Keluar (with Sid Lamar of Schwefelgelb), Zanias is a solo performer, DJ and producer, co-founder of Berlin's Fleisch collective and now runs the label of the same name. From a state of psychedelic-induced ego death, through painful revelations and onward into a realm of new desires, these four very personal tracks are the direct result of the artist's own therapeutic process of self-exploration and expression undertaken during a tumultuous year of change. Utilising decidedly minimal instrumentation as the backdrop to the emotional weight of the voice and words, each song represents an individual step within an exhausting but ultimately affirmative transformation.)
