( ;D --> Beginning career in the arts as a painter with an interest in experimental theatre, Adi Newton formed the electronic trio, The Future, who were one of the first bands to arise in the burgeoning Sheffield, UK, electronic music scene of the late 70s. After recording a few demos which failed to lead to an official release, Newton left The Future (with the other two members going on to form The Human League) and began recording avant garde and experimental music under the name Clock DVA along with Steven "Judd" Turner. As Newton's interest in the growing culture of industrial music grew, Clock DVA recorded a series of albums to much critical acclaim and he formed The Anti Group (TAGC), an open ended series of multimedia collaborations which revolved around psychoacoustic experimentation and the notion of occult ritual (which had always been an influence on his work with Clock DVA, as well, but were more directly explored with TAGC) as well as recording with Andrew McKenzie (The Hafler Trio) as the Psychophysicist. Newton continues to remain active with both Clock DVA and TAGC as well as coordinating the multimedia production company ARMComm (Anterior Research Media Communications.)

Death In June

www.facebook.com/deathinjune.official/
( ;D --> Death in June are a neofolk group led by English musician Douglas P. (Douglas Pearce). The band was originally formed in the United Kingdom in 1981 as a trio, but after the other members left in 1984 and 1985 to work on other projects, the group became the work of Douglas P. and various collaborators. Over the band's four decades of existence, they have made numerous shifts in style and presentation, resulting in an overall shift from initial post-punk and Industrial music influence to a more acoustic and folk music-oriented approach.)

( ;D --> Spanning 41 years of Death In June’s existence, from songs like “Heaven Street” to “The Trigger”, “NADA-IZED!” is a selection of tracks that spiritually revisit the group’s mid-1980’s dalliance with militant electro-dance whilst remaining very much aware of the present. Recorded and produced in separate self-isolation, Douglas P. and Miro Snejdr (Herr Synthwave Himself), have produced these New Play Tunes for New Plague Times.)

The Legendary Pink Dots
www.facebook.com/legendarypinkdots/
https://legendarypinkdots.org
( ;D --> The Legendary Pink Dots (LPD) are an Anglo-Dutch experimental rock band formed in London in August 1980. Although far outside the mainstream (in terms of their music and career path), LPD have released more than 40 albums, have a devoted worldwide following, and tour frequently. The story behind the band's name is a source of speculation because Edward has given multiple explanations behind its origins. The most plausible and common explanation traces back to the mysterious pink dots on certain keys of the band's main recording studio piano named "Osbert"; the dots that can be found at either end of the keys do not make any particular chord or scale pattern and the reason for them remains unknown to this day. The piano itself is still owned by one of the founding band members, April White, and can be found at her home recording studio in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire. Their music touches on elements of neo-psychedelia, ambient music, electronic music, tape music, industrial, psych folk, synth-pop, post-punk, progressive, jazz, noise, pop, and goth rock, with a distinctly experimental/avant-garde bent; their sound has evolved over time and remains distinctive, making it difficult to place the group into a concise style or genre. The group's overall sound combined with Ka-Spel's distinct lyrics and singing have earned comparisons to Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett;[1] the group also has links to the sounds of krautrock bands such as Can,[2] Faust, Brainticket, Magma or Neu! (whose "Super" they covered on the 1999 tribute album "A Homage to NEU!"), as well, to some post-industrial`pioneers as Nurse With Wound and the neo-folk of Current 93. Edward Ka-Spel has said their musical influences range from the likes of Abba to Iannis Xenakis. The Pink Dots also collaborated with Skinny Puppy's cEvin Key, forming a side project named The Tear Garden. Key also appears on the 1994 LPD album 9 Lives to Wonder. Others groups related to present and past Pink Dots members are Strange Attractor, Mimir and Minizza.)

( ;D --> Throughout the 90s Leftfield were untouchable live and on record. Their debut Leftism, remains one of the defining statements of 90s dance music, a gloriously inter-woven bombardment of musical styles and immaculate grooves, nominated for a Mercury prize and later voted in the top ten greatest albums of all time by readers of Q magazine. The 90s were all but over when the second Leftfield album appeared in Autumn 1999. Rhythm And Stealth worked with a darker hue and more pronounced techno influence, guests including Roots Manuva, MC Cheshire Cat and Afrika Bambaataa on first single Afrika Shox, which reached the UK top ten.)

Orbital
https://orbitalofficial.com/
( ;D --> Orbital are a British electronic dance music duo from Sevenoaks, England consisting of brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll. Their career initially ran from 1989 until 2004, but in 2009 they announced that they would be reforming and headlining The Big Chill, in addition to a number of other live shows in 2009.The band's name was taken from Greater London's orbital motorway, the M25, which was central to the early rave scene and party network in the South East during the early days of acid house. One of the biggest names in British electronica during the 1990s, Orbital were both critically and commercially successful, and known particularly for their element of live improvisation during shows, a rarity among techno acts. They were initially influenced by early electro and punk rock.)
