Broken Note
www.myspace.com/brokennoteuk
( ;D --> Raised on a diet of pure filth; Broken Note have dragged their own unique sound kicking and screaming to the electronic music scene. Combining lean, considered production skills with an appreciation of diverse rough beats; they have quickly established themselves as a sonic force to be reckoned with. Their slower-tempo sound can only very loosely be described as Dubstep, with little in common with much of the scene's output. Instead they draw from the Sino-Rastafarian sound and heavy bass; but also combine this with more of the kind of dark and aggressive beats that can be found in Breakcore and Jungle. Their Drum and Bass output is similarly disturbingly brutal, with undulating beats and bass that are unashamed to draw from the darkly edgy sounds of Gabba and Techno. It delivers a rhythmic pounding that has set dance floors around the world on fire with its astonishing heaviness. The result is both at home in clubs and the vast expanse of a decaying urban warehouse, inspiring visions of a dark and techy future for their music.)

Juno Reactor
www.myspace.com/juno_reactor
www.reactorleak.com
( ;D --> Juno Reactor are a musical and performing act known for the cinematic fusion of electronic, orchestral and global music. Central to the project is Ben Watkins, and his collaborations with a constantly changing ensemble of musicians from across the world, including percussionist Mabi Thobejane from South Africa along with countrymen Amampondo, Eduardo Niebla, Steve Stevens, Taz Alexander, Ghetto Priest, Sugizo and recently Yasmin Levy. They are also famous for collaborating with composer Don Davis for the musical score of the film 'The Matrix' as well as other films. Originally Juno Reactor was formed as an art project in 1990; Ben Watkins wanted to collaborate with other artists to produce and be involved in exciting projects that were not commercially driven. He wanted to create experimental music/non musical soundtracks that would work with installations, art pieces and film projects.)

Heimataerde

Unwesen
H_amazon
( ;D --> Heimataerde burst onto the dark electro scene with the club-smashing single "Ich Hab die Nacht Getraeumet" and the debut album Gotteskrieger. With its sinister blend of massive electro and unusual instruments like bagpipes and cymbals, Heimataerde garnered attention from fans and reviewers alike. At a loss for a fitting description of Heimataerde s music, the press invented the term medieval-electro. Ashlar von Megalon is the narrator that leads us through this hellish scenario, having assigned himself the role of eternal wanderer on a quest for answers and a hidden truth. The new album, Unwesen, will raise a dark world of the forgotten avenger, following the trail of suppressed guilt and half-forgotten crimes rising to the surface with a vengeance. Unwesen is a further step of musical development for Heimataerde, expanding the atmosphere of its self-created genre.)
