Flavor of the Week #51

Current Value
( ;D --> Tim E. aka Current Value has been going strong and pushing limits within the drum n bass community for a decade now. The early Position Chrome material was phenominal with arguably some of the most insanely technical programming of its time...perhaps too technical to gain a footing with more dancefloor-minded DJs, which led to his slower trickle of releases on various smaller labels after Chrome moved towards pushing simple dancefloor tunes. His work has moved away from the haunted spacestation soundtracks to a more visceral style of dancefloor smashers, but has lost none of the extreme technical work that is his signature.)

Keven Tecon joined the band as a drummer in early 2012. As purveyors of the emerging Post-Apocalyptic sound, The Soft Moon has taken cues from early Synthpunk/Post-Punk bands such as Chrome, Suicide, Danse Society, and The Units.)

Spiral to the pink gods

( ;D --> "A monolithic, spooky album that evokes images of both the dance floor and the horror movie screen... I give A DANCE OF SHADOWS 9 stars out of 10, because it not only shows growth, but also a really polished sense of purpose. CONFRONTATIONAL intends to confront you, and what he will show you may frighten you… but only until you come to love it for the art that it is." Bryan Eddy,
