Jon Hopkins

( ;D --> Jon Hopkins (born 1979) is a London-based producer and musician who writes and performs his own melodic electronica and dance music. After starting his career performing keyboard for Imogen Heap, he's produced or contributed to albums by Brian Eno, Coldplay, David Holmes, and others.)

Bootblacks
http://www.bootblacks.net/
https://www.facebook.com/bootblacksNYC/
( ;D --> Bootblacks' hometown of New York City is integral to Thin Skies' sound. The band's name itself is said to be derived from novelist William Burroughs’ description of the dark underbelly of glitzy NYC. Almqvist states: "It's an energetic city and people have all the reasons in the world not to give you the time of day. I think our music has been shaped by that in many ways." Bootblacks , the leader in NYC's post-punk scene, has released their 4th album on Canada's prestigious Artoffact . The gloomy vocals, the captivating guitar riffs that burn into your mind, the ephemeral synths, and the powerful drum machines weave together to create a band sound that is unrivaled. Get a soulful, melodic and exciting post-punk album.)

Hans Zimmer
www.hans-zimmer.com
( ;D --> If you have been to the cinema or watched a DVD in the last 20 years, it's likely you have heard a Hans Zimmer track. Born in Germany in 1957, the keyboard player and writer began his career in the early 1980's electronic bands Ultravox and The Buggles, and with an Italian new wave band Krisma. His real fame came from his film scores; his first big success was in 1988 with the music for the film Rain Man, which was nominated for an Academy Award. Since then the multi award-winning producer has an extensive list of credits that include The Lion King, Gladiator and The Da Vinci Code. As a tribute to his versatility, his most recent success is the "Spider Pig" tune from The Simpsons Movie.)

Implant
https://www.facebook.com/Implantmusic/
www.implant-music.be
( ;D --> Implant, the project of LEN LEMEIRE, has been trying to contribute to the already massive inheritance of the Belgian electronic scene since 1992. 8 full length albums, 7 EP’s, uncountable remixes and several productions later, one can only agree that the music itself is the universal language. It was because of his music that Len teamed up with several of the early pioneers of electronic music. When ANNE CLARK heard Len’s remix for ‘Sleeper in Metropolis’, Implant became the electronic live band of ANNE CLARK for 5 years, resulting in guest contributions of Anne on 2 albums (‘Audio Blender’ and ‘Self Inflicted’). When Jean-Luc de Meyer (FRONT 242) heard an implant track, he decided not only to contribute vocals for 1 track, but a full blown new project was born under the flag of 32CRASH.)

Plastic Ivy
https://www.plasticivy.net/
https://plasticivy.bandcamp.com/
( ;D --> Plastic Ivy, who has made a name for herself in the underground spheres of analog synth experimentation, has released her first full length for Kraftjerkz, entitled “Spots of Time.” The album is as much a lyrical treasure as it is an analog synth dream, brought to life through abundant melodies and arpeggiations, alluring vocals, and a somber emotional tone that courses through the veins of the album. Plastic Ivy’s influences are wide ranging; sonically, the nod to cold wave, the new romantics, and early indie is clear.)
