( ;D --> Psy'Aviah is an Industrial rock / Electroclash / Dark EBM band from Antwerp, Belgium. The band took form in 2004 and was mainly focused on playing live. Later that year they won the Studio Brussel Demopoll with The Future Of The Sun. In 2007 they teamed up with Len Lemeire (from Implant/32Crash fame) to record their first album Creationism. 2008 saw the signing to the Alfa Matrix record label and the release of a new album, featurings and remixes. 2010 brings the third album of Psy'Aviah entitled Eclectric, produced by band member Yves Schelpe and mastered by Geert de Wilde of IC 434 in Antwerp. Their third album brings again a mix of electric eclecticism, varying between styles always with a hint of darkness. ( ;D --> Producing sophisticated psychedelic Chill Out music is a discipline within the electronic music scene that is similar to playing Jazz in a certain respect: It needs maturity and extensive musical experience to go beyond the scope of standards, to become really good and extraordinary. This might have to do with the fact that this kind of music is not aiming a busy dance floor, rising its hands and shouting out loud during the breaks. Instead of that, it is made for the individual mind and therefore includes a less functional but pretty intellectual, mature and also very artistic moment. Seen in front of this background, the history of Koan gives some interesting hints about the astonishing musical quality of this Russian duo.)

( ;D --> Beginning career in the arts as a painter with an interest in experimental theatre, Adi Newton formed the electronic trio, The Future, who were one of the first bands to arise in the burgeoning Sheffield, UK, electronic music scene of the late 70s. After recording a few demos which failed to lead to an official release, Newton left The Future (with the other two members going on to form The Human League) and began recording avant garde and experimental music under the name Clock DVA along with Steven "Judd" Turner. As Newton's interest in the growing culture of industrial music grew, Clock DVA recorded a series of albums to much critical acclaim and he formed The Anti Group (TAGC), an open ended series of multimedia collaborations which revolved around psychoacoustic experimentation and the notion of occult ritual (which had always been an influence on his work with Clock DVA, as well, but were more directly explored with TAGC) as well as recording with Andrew McKenzie (The Hafler Trio) as the Psychophysicist. Newton continues to remain active with both Clock DVA and TAGC as well as coordinating the multimedia production company ARMComm (Anterior Research Media Communications.)

( ;D --> Velvet Acid Christ had their origins in an 80's high school electronics class, where Bryan and Chris would debate the merits of Amiga versus Atari. Bryan and Grigory Bilham (an early member of VAC) were at the time working in a punk/funk band, which, by 1990, was altered to the trio of Bryan, Chris, and Grig. The band's name was originally Cyberchrist, although this was changed within a few months to Velvet Acid Christ, named (so they say) in honor of a bad acid trip. Grig left the band in 1992, leaving the core of Bryan and Chris (although various other people have had revolving door membership in the band). Bryan and Chris cite a number of influences to their hard driving industrial sound, including Legendary Pink Dots, the Cure, Skinny Puppy, Orbital, and a surprising number of metal bands, including Napalm Death, Godflesh, and Metallica. They also expose a number of social issues, including animal rights and their concern regarding the basic survival of mankind against the onslaught of technoloy. VACs masterpiece and most recent full-length CD release Lust For Blood is possibly VACs most complete and diverse album in the past ten years. Lust For Blood is an aggressive return for one of electronic music’s most prolific artists. Angry and other times haunting vocals are forged to incessant beats, permeating melodies, and relentless bass lines.
