( ;D --> After a short career in hip-hop, Los Angeles-based producer John Tejada quickly embraced electronic music. That was nearly two decades ago and, since then, Tejada's name has become synonymous with ultra-clean production and an attention-to-detail that has earned the respect of fellow producers and music aficionados worldwide.)

( ;D --> Telefon Tel Aviv was a Chicago-based electronic-music group that relocated from New Orleans in 2001 and was primarily known for its work in electronica.Formed in 1999 by Charles Cooper and Joshua Eustis, its first album was released in the fall of 2001 to positive reviews. In 2002, the group released an EP on the Hefty Records Immediate Action label. In 2004, the duo's second full-length album, and in 2007, it released a compilation album of remixes appropriately titled Remixes Compiled. The group just released its third and final full length album "Immolate Yourself" on January 20, 2009 on the BPitch Control label.
:( Unfortunally Charles Cooper was found dead on januari the 27th. The information also appeared on the band's website: "Charles Wesley Cooper III / April 12, 1977 - January 22, 2009". The CBS2 Chicago article about Cooper's death specify that he went missing on January 21 before being found dead.)

( ;D --> The band began with the self-published "Subsequent Pleasures" EP under the name Xymox, at that time consisting of Ronny Moorings on guitar and vocals, Anke Wolbert on bass, keyboards and vocals, and Pieter Nooten on keyboards and vocals. A chance meeting with Brendan Perry and Lisa Gerrard of Dead Can Dance led to an invitation to support that band on a UK tour, and then a recording contract with their record label, 4AD Records.Their debut album, self-titled under their newly adopted name Clan of Xymox, was released by 4AD in 1985, and drew comparisons to Joy Division and The Cure. 1986 saw their second album, Medusa (considered by many fans to be their finest work), continuing in this dark vein.1987 saw the band provide a track for Lonely Is an Eyesore, a fascinating compilation album highlighting the diversity of talent on the 4AD roster. "Muscoviet Musquito", sandwiched between Dif Juz and Dead Can Dance, showed a more confident side to the band. The new album release by Clan of Xymox will be most likely in spring 2009, the full release date is not yet known, but a new song "Emily" was played during the last tour and it seems people pick up on it immediately.)

( ;D --> Ronny Moorings has reappeared after years out of the spotlight with a cover of David Bowie's almighty classic. The industrial version of the song is slow, almost melancholic - in other words, typical Xymox.)
