Flavor of the Week #51

Cyberaktif (Cevin Key. Bill Leeb. Rhys Fulber)
https://cyberaktif.bandcamp.com
( ;D --> Cyberaktif, is an industrial super group which consisted of Cevin Key and Dwayne Goettel from Skinny Puppy and Bill Leeb from Front Line Assembly, with guest vocals by Blixa Bargeld from Einstürzende Neubauten. They released the legendary album “Tenebrae Vision” and a few singles, but then they returned back to their own projects. Until now. Cevin Key had been making a lot of tracks for a potential new Skinny Puppy album, but that will never happen now that the band just played their final concert. So he figured, why not use those tracks for something else? And thus Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber were drafted into jumpstarting Cyberaktif again. Swede Eric Peterson, a more recent collaborator of Cevin’s on his latest solo album and the “Silent Hill – Ascension” soundtrack, worked on a few tracks too. Dre Robinson and Guilherme Pires also features on it.)

( ;D --> For over twenty years, Industrial experimentalist aka Suicide Commando has carried the dark electro heritage of acts like Klinik, Front 242 and Skinny Puppy in its heart and musical soul. Bearing these influences on his sleeve Van Roy turned these inspirations into a superb high-octane and highly aggressive, danceable EBM-industrial / dark electro hybrid aiming straight for the club-dancefloors. Over the years Suicide Commando bombed us with numerous clubhits like See you in hell, Desire, Hellraiser, Love breeds suicide, Cause of death:suicide, Bind torture kill … which turned Suicide Commando into one of the dark underground's most beloved dance acts of the last decade. Bombast, extreme power and a critical view on today's society.)
