( ;D --> Nurse With Wound has been Steven Stapleton’s main musical outlet for some 30 years. He has also appeared on records by other artists and worked as a producer, remixer and, more recently, a critcially acclaimed soundtrack composer. As well as his musical output Stapleton is a highly accomplished and renowned painter and sculptor often working under the guise of ‘Babs Santini’. There are now over 50 full-length NWW titles. Stapleton’s eclectic tastes in art, film and music is often reflected in the broad and often unpredictable and unlikely music of NWW, the output of which draws directly on nearly every musical genre imaginable yet consistently retains a distinctively and recognizable Nurse With Wound ‘sound’. Although Stapleton has sole curatorship of NWW, the group has a long and illustrious list of collaborators including Diana Rogerson, Jim Thirlwell (Foetus), David Jackman (Organum), The Hafler Trio, Stereolab, Jim O’Rourke, Sunn O))), William Bennett (Whitehouse), Robert Haigh, Rose McDowall (Strawberry Switchblade), Christoph Heemann, Faust, Annie Anxiety (Crass), Coil, Eberhard Kranemann (Kraftwerk, Neu!), Malian singer/songwriter Boubacar Traoré and, most regularly, David Tibet (Current 93).)

NIN / NIИ / Nine Inch Nails

( ;D --> Nine Inch Nails (abbreviated as NIN, sometimes stylized as NIИ) is an American industrial rock project, founded in 1988 by Trent Reznor in Cleveland, Ohio. As its main producer, singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist, Reznor is the only official member of Nine Inch Nails and remains solely responsible for its direction. Nine Inch Nails' music straddles a wide range of genres. After recording a new album, Reznor usually assembles a live band to perform with him. The touring band features a revolving lineup that often rearranges songs to fit a live setting. On stage, Nine Inch Nails often employs visual elements to accompany performances, which frequently include light shows.)

( ;D --> CUBIC’s sonic identity is often characterized by a good mix of pumping 808 kicks, melodic soundscapes and Düsseldorf percussion all spiced up with hypnotic synths and mind blowing reverb. But the album also reveals other genre explorations like on the track “E”, a pure club hit evoking 90’s trance with a cutting edge à la KÖLSH, the more breakbeat oriented cut “T” and its ORBITAL-like addictive vocal melodic lines, the dark techno pearl “S” and its lush rolling bass lines reinforcing its overall somber atmosphere or yet “G” and its rough and hammering techno body assault evoking GESAFFELSTEIN and other TERENCE FIXMER.)

( ;D --> Jori Hulkkonen is a DJ and a producer of house music from the northern town of Kemi, Finland. Raised up around the arctic circle, below freezing point and under the influence of a coctail of synthpop and early electro, house and techno handily available from the Swedish radio, Jori quickly developed a taste, and more importantly, a passion for electronic music. With no musical education or any backround in playing any instruments Jori started to experiment with electronics in 1988 and soon became addicted to making music. Hulkkonen's most popular recording is the single Sunglasses at Night, a version of Corey Hart's 1980s hit, created together with Canadian producer Tiga. His most recent solo full-length Dualizm, released in 2005, featured collaborations with John Foxx, Nick Triani, Tiga, Jerry Valuri, and José González. Following up on the success of the Lo-Fiction single on Dualizm on which they collaborated, Jori began a synth-pop side project with Jerry Valuri called Processory, which released its self-titled debut in February 2007. Jori Hulkkonen has also released records under such aliases as Zyntherius, Eternal Boyman, Bobby Forrester and Jii Hoo. He has worked on remixes to Telepopmusik's second single Love Can Damage Your Health.)

( ;D --> "Two handsome german boys" making in-your-face electro that's as much punk as it is pop. Call it the neu neue deutsche Welle. Melodys drill themselves inside the head, beats forge ahead as piercing vocals meet lovingly produced, minimalistic musical details. John Maus
https://johnmaus.bandcamp.com/
( ;D --> John Maus lives in his birthplace of Austin, Minnesota. Whilst working towards his PhD in Political Science he also composes music that taps into melancholic fantasy and affirms that we are all truly alive. Questing synthesisers, tensely strung bass lines and chasing drum machines provide the perfect backdrop for John's deeply resonant reverb-drenched vocal. Born in the decade of synth pop and sharing his birthday with George Frideric Handel, John started making music when Nirvana posters went up on every teenager's wall. It's this curious conflux of influences that partially helps to describe John's music. It's a world where the Germs jam with Jerry Goldsmith, Cabaret Voltaire relocate to Eternia and Josquin des Prez writes a new score for RoboCop. The confrontation of punk, the fleeting poignancy of 80s movie soundtracks, the insistent pulse of Moroder and the spirituality of Medieval and Baroque music all find salvation in John Maus. After a spell working alongside Ariel Pink and Gary War in Haunted Graffiti, 2006 saw the release of John's debut album proper through Upset The Rhythm.)
Later Than You Think

( ;D --> On September 26th, 2025, two decades into a boundary-pushing career, American musician, composer, and academic John Maus will release his most powerful work yet: Later Than You Think. Arriving via his new label Young (FKA twigs, The xx, Sampha), the album explores themes of justice, confession, rebirth, transformation, and spiritual warfare, further expanding the liminal space where outsider art collides with art-pop, raw emotion, and intellectual depth.)

Koan
www.facebook.com/koanmsk
https://soundcloud.com/koanofficial
( ;D --> Producing sophisticated psychedelic Chill Out music is a discipline within the electronic music scene that is similar to playing Jazz in a certain respect: It needs maturity and extensive musical experience to go beyond the scope of standards, to become really good and extraordinary. This might have to do with the fact that this kind of music is not aiming a busy dance floor, rising its hands and shouting out loud during the breaks. Instead of that, it is made for the individual mind and therefore includes a less functional but pretty intellectual, mature and also very artistic moment. Seen in front of this background, the history of Koan gives some interesting hints about the astonishing musical quality of this Russian duo.)
