The KLF
http://klf.de/home/
( ;D --> The KLF(also known as the Justified Ancients of Mu Mu, the JAMs, the Timelords and other names) are a British electronic band formed in London in 1987. Bill Drummond (alias King Boy D) and Jimmy Cauty (alias Rockman Rock) began by releasing hip hop-inspired and sample-heavy records as the JAMs. As the Timelords, they recorded the British number-one single "Doctorin' the Tardis" and documented the process of making a hit record in a book, The Manual (How to Have a Number One the Easy Way). As the KLF, Drummond and Cauty pioneered stadium house (rave music with a pop-rock production and sampled crowd noise) and ambient house. The KLF released a series of international hits on their own KLF Communications record label and became the biggest-selling singles act in the world in 1991. From the outset, the KLF adopted the philosophy espoused by esoteric novels The Illuminatus! Trilogy, making anarchic situationist manifestations, including the defacement of billboard adverts, the posting of cryptic advertisements in NME magazine and the mainstream press, and unusual performances on Top of the Pops. In collaboration with Extreme Noise Terror at the BRIT Awards in February 1992, they fired machine gun blanks into the audience and dumped a dead sheep at the aftershow party. This performance pre-announced The KLF's departure from the music business and, in May of that year, they deleted their entire back-catalogue. With the KLF's profits, Drummond and Cauty established the K Foundation and sought to subvert the art world, staging an alternative art award for the Worst Artist of The Year and burning one million pounds sterling.)

Koan

( ;D --> Producing sophisticated psychedelic Chill Out music is a discipline within the electronic music scene that is similar to playing Jazz in a certain respect: It needs maturity and extensive musical experience to go beyond the scope of standards, to become really good and extraordinary. This might have to do with the fact that this kind of music is not aiming a busy dance floor, rising its hands and shouting out loud during the breaks. Instead of that, it is made for the individual mind and therefore includes a less functional but pretty intellectual, mature and also very artistic moment. Seen in front of this background, the history of Koan gives some interesting hints about the astonishing musical quality of this Russian duo.)

It has been far from straight forward: Land pirates, cannibals, the occult, and former virtual reality junkies desperate for their next hit, all lurk in even the furthest reaches of this vast waste land. Sierra, no matter how arduous this task, the force is too great to resist. To be master is something she cannot walk away from. Our post-apocalyptic world has ravaged life as we remember it, and only a few have the power to lead us to either the light or the dark. Which side is Sierra on? ( ;D --> Dive / Absolute Body Control / Sonar / ex - The Klinik; Apart from being well known as founding member of The Klinik and for his one man performances as Dive, armed with a mini disc, megaphone and 2 strobocopes, Dirk Ivens has proven worldwide on many stages that often less means more. Also his 2 other projects with long time musical partner Eric van Wonterghem, the minimal synthpop of Absolute Body Control and the noisy face to face beats from Sonar prove this statement. Besides these musical outputs he also runs 2 labels Daft records and Minimal Maximal, concentrating on Electro/EBM/Wave releases, a fine mixture of well know and newcomer bands.)

( ;D --> Filmic, bourbon soaked, bloody soundscapes, menacing vocals, crunchy guitar, unlikely samples, the funk AND the punk, orchestral imposition, sex, drugs and every hole's a goal. From the sublime to the deeply disturbing, PIG provides the soundtrack to the movie that you'd talk about in hushed, unsteady voices. Harder than hard rock, stompier than industrial, you probably don't know you've already heard the Lord of Lard. Have a taste.)

( ;D --> hidden in the shadow of this room, Jauzas looks himself in a broken mirror but he doesn't recognize himself .he doesn't remember ......the only thing he knowns is that he's now on board the nautilus ship, deeper and deeper is an ocean of sounds ...Artificial lights, mechanical noise and metallic walls..He starts hearing these voices but he doesn't know who they belong to....using his sickness on skyzophrenic beats from his electronic dark side ,he became"Jauzas the shining")

Clubroot

www.facebook.com/pages/Clubroot/121621161196462
( ;D --> To sum up Clubroot's sound as succinctly as possible, it's like the perfect hybrid of Burial and Kryptic Minds, taking the mood driven atmospheres and quicksilver slink of Burial and alloying it to dynamic basslines and intricately produced rhythm structures. Clubroot has created a Cinematic ambiance for the new album, S/T (II MMX). The sounds is delicate married to its accompanying elements that it seems as if it was unearthed in complete form as opposed to constructed. It possesses some of the most pronounced and arresting basslines ever heard, delivered musically in a language as ethereal and intense as, say, Dead Can Dance, Cocteau Twins, or perhaps Muslimgauze, but couched in a language informed by the scene around dubstep and UK garage.)

Patten

https://soundcloud.com/patttten
www.patttten.com/
( ;D --> Patten’s music doesn’t benefit from prolonged exposure. Certainly, condensed into 23 minutes on the Eolian Instate EP, the producer’s signature style is far more palatable. The tracks on this, his debut release for Warp, are a touch more incisive, although in other respects it seems that little has changed for Patten in the past two years. The sound remains much the same—a pulverised form of electronica tempered with a subtle melodic glow—and passing comparisons can still be made to Actress’ heat-warped techno, or Flying Lotus at his most fervidly psychedelic.)

Schwefelgelb
www.schwefelgelb.de
www.facebook.com/schwefelgelb
( ;D --> "Two handsome german boys" making in-your-face electro that's as much punk as it is pop. Call it the neu neue deutsche Welle. Melodys drill themselves inside the head, beats forge ahead as piercing vocals meet lovingly produced, minimalistic musical details. Though definitly influenced by 80's New Wave, NDW and Punk, Schwefelgelb transfer these old cliches into something very new via some razor-sharp progressive sounds)

The Glass Beads
https://theglassbeads.bandcamp.com
(;D --> Ukranian Coldwave Duo The Glass Beads invoke sorrowful sounds, both strange and sensual, on their debut LP Therapy, melancholic life stories focused on the search and struggle of trying to find your way as an individual way and to accept yourself. These themes explored on the record are filled with pain and anger as well as hope. The Glass Beads feature the talents of musicians Marina Rublevskaya and Mark Arshynnikov, a pair of musicians whose Slavic features construct an appearance that is altogether commanding, beautiful and timelessly Gothic, yet gracefully tempered with a modern and tasteful style woven between two eras of the centennial: 1920, and now. In collaboration, Marina and Mark conjure melodies that reverberate like footsteps through the hallways of an abandoned house, haunted by memories of love, sickness, and death. Their melodic music is interwoven with sighing keys, palpitating drum machines, sauntering basslines, and disaffected vocals like an east.)

( ;D --> Evan Bartholomew, under the moniker Bluetech, produces his unique style of experimental noise from San Diego, CA. Classically trained on the piano for public performing, Bartholomew deviated from the traditional sounds and began to express the rhythms that sprouted from within him, and Bluetech was born. This resulted in his interpretation of nature's expression of being, a sound that is dronal ambient, downtempo, improvisational. He devoured the electronic potentials for musical expression and conveyed it in IDM, digidub, and psychedelic trance.)

Monolake / Robert Henke
www.roberthenke.com/
( ;D --> Monolake is an electronic music act based in Berlin. Originally consisting of members Gerhard Behles and Robert Henke, Monolake is now perpetuated by Henke while Behles focuses on running music software company Ableton. In fall 2004, Torsten Pröfrock became a member of Monolake. Monolake's minimal, dub-influenced techno music helped establish the sound of the Chain Reaction label, also located in Berlin, subsequently using their own [ml/i] (Monolake / Imbalance Computer Music) label for the group's output. Both current members have solo projects, with Henke releasing under his own name and Pröfrock as T++ and Various Artists. In 2008 T++ followed Ricardo Villalobos in bridging the gap between minimal techno and dubstep, by remixing Shackleton's Death Is Not Final for the Skull Disco label. In 2009, Robert Henke appeared in the electronic music documentary Speaking In Code which presented the completion of the Monodeck. Monolake is named after Mono Lake, which is east of the Sierra Nevada in California.)

Initially a side project while he was with the new wave band Images in Vogue, Skinny Puppy quickly became his primary musical outlet after landing a record deal with Nettwerk Records in 1984. When Skinny Puppy disbanded in 1995 following the death of keyboardist Dwayne Goettel, Key's main project became the electronic noise group Download. In addition to his work with Skinny Puppy and Download, Key has had several side projects, most notably The Tear Garden, a project started in 1985 with Legendary Pink Dots singer Edward Ka-Spel. Their sound incorporates minimal, progressive and techno, aimed squarely at blowing holes in sound systems. With more than 10 Original Productions and dozens of remixes, Extrawelts’ tank-like driving bass lines, powerful drum beats and blend of menacing, droning, echoing synths are impressing everyone from your 8 year old sister to some of the most prolific DJs in the world including Sasha, John Digweed, James Holden and Sven Vath. Early on Extrawelt’s productions quickly caught the ear of James Holden, who signed their first track to his own Border Community Label. James gave the track a working title “soopertrack” which stuck, and soon became a manifesto for their music, producing and releasing dance floor bomb after bomb, through labels including the Iconic Cocoon label, Traum, Great Stuff and Giant Wheel.)

Fast forward almost 7 years and numerous records, remixes and a quarter of a billion streams later, Le Youth continues to elevate his artistry with his recent offering "Aquiver EP" on Lane 8's This Never Happened imprint at the end of 2019.
Heavily inspired by the deep melodic techno and progressive sounds that came out of Europe from the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, Eric Prydz and more recently Lane 8, Yotto, and Ben Bohmer, Le Youth's decision to make new music made almost exclusively for the dance floor, was a deliberate one.)
