In September 2011, the second album, "There Is No Light Over Devil's Land" was released. A new member, Aubrey, joined during this time making the band the duo that exists today. Marek Hemmann

www.marekhemmann.com
( ;D --> Marek Hemmann has grown into the electronic music as a hunter, collector and true connoisseur of tones and sonics. It all began in the beginning of the 90’s with a guitar whose sonic spectrum was far too limited for him. The discovery of the samplers and the synthesizers suddenly opened new possibilities where the acoustic world could be conserved; it was now possible with sound and noise on synthesizers to create what the human ear has never before experienced. The reason for the sonic passion was delivered to him via the techno parties late 90’s in his home area of Gera which was soon a weekly anchor for electronic experimentation.)

( ;D --> Everything began while Antoine was studying at the conservatoire at the end of the 90s. He met, by playing classical music in the street, a band of progressive rockers, and it was the beginning of his first strong musical experience. With those new friends, influenced by bands such as King Crimson, Gentle Giant and Robert Wyatt, he created his first band, Thork, and produced two albums (Urdoxa, 2000 and Weila, 2004). Antoine continued his road alone, after his arrival in Lyon, and he created his acoustic project TAT, which allowed him to sign with the Swiss label Urgence Disk Records and to produce three albums (Quinta Essentia, 2006, Le Sperme De Tous Les Métaux, 2007, and Testament, 2010). The purpose of TAT is very experimental and spiritual: to make a musical alchemy. Through this project, TAT collaborated with several underground artists such as Le Chiffre, Vx69 of Punish Yourself, Laurie Lipton & Laurent Courau (from the Abode Of Chaos). Antoine finally created Operation Of The Sun, last improbable idea which allowed him to play a music which he had never played up to now: a retro-futuristic & dancefloor electro.)

These sounds completed my works and added an atmosphere within and around my paintings, subsequent installations and videos. With time, these sounds have gained a more and more important place and have become self-sufficient, no longer requiring any other medium. I look for dense, heavy, noisy, squeaky, tense and quiet atmospheres, which have to be both dark and bright at the same time.)

Boards of Canada
www.boardsofcanada.com
( ;D --> Boards of Canada (commonly abbreviated BoC) are a Scottish electronic music duo consisting of brothers Michael Sandison (born 1 June 1970) and Marcus Eoin (born 21 July 1971). They have released several works on Warp Records with little advertising and few interviews, while also having an elusive and obscure back-catalogue of releases on their self-run Music70 label. They have also recorded at least four tracks under the alias Hell Interface. Boards of Canada's music is reminiscent of the warm, analogue sounds of 1970s media and contains themes of childhood, nostalgia and the natural world. Mike and Marcus have mentioned the documentary films of the National Film Board of Canada, from which the group's name is derived, as a source of inspiration. BoC's sound is a product of their use of analogue equipment, mix of electronic and conventional instrumentation, use of distorted samples as well as live and recorded lyrics, and their layering and blending of these elements. Because they avoid a purely synthetic sound, their music is often described as having a warm, emotive quality often meant to inspire nostalgia. This is helped by the use of samples from 1970s television shows and other media prevalent in the era of the brothers' shared childhood, especially the nature-inspired documentaries produced by the National Film Board of Canada.)

After obtaining his MA, he started working on film shoots in various roles (including assistant director, production coordinator and set decorator) while continuing to make music in his spare time. And then one day – InFiné – spotted some of his tracks on the web (Bora in particular, which was featured on Agoria’s At The Controls mix) and got in touch with him. ( ;D --> Sonic area is a quest to enlarge the doors of a living and therefore unpredictable sound universe. this project, which has been alive itself since 1997, is the alter ego of arnaud coëffic aka arco trauma (chrysalide, f.y.d.), co-founder of the french audiotrauma collective where he has published most of his releases. he has more than 100 live performances all over europe under his belt, and has collaborated with artists like punish yourself, hint, morbid angel, twinkle, ambassador 21 and muckrackers. disturbing, unexpectable and sometimes hard to describe, he admixes electro hybrid experimental, cinematic orchestral atmospheres, tribal industrial, hard-glitch breaks and lush ambient soundscapes carved with sampler, groove box and computer modifications.)

The Knife
theknife.net
( ;D --> The Knife are a Swedish electronic music duo from Stockholm, formed in 1999.[3] The group consists of siblings Karin Dreijer Andersson and Olof Dreijer, who together also run their own record company, Rabid Records. The group gained a large international following in response to their 2003 album Deep Cuts. The group and this specific album later received further attention when a cover of their song "Heartbeats", rearranged for acoustic guitar by José González, appeared in a Sony commercial. Subsequent songs have appeared on a number of television shows.
The duo's first tour took place in 2006, along with the release of their critically acclaimed album Silent Shout. They have won a number of Swedish Grammis, but refuse to attend awards ceremonies. They have appeared in public wearing Venetian masks. Andersson released a solo album under the name Fever Ray in 2009, while her brother released several EPs as Oni Ayhun in late 2009 and early 2010.)
