( ;D --> In the summer of 1993, Da5id Din and Matthew Crofoot formed Informatik based on a shared interest in the electronic music that was coming from Europe. They began recording together immediately, and after founding SINless Records, self-released their debut album Direct Memory Access in 1995. The Duo also successfully released the album Escape to Reality under the name Din_Fiv which stormed the charts in 2000. A highly successful US tour followed, with label mates Velvet Acid Christ and Haujobb. In 2008 Informatik returns with the album Beyond, their most unique and genre-defying work to date. Featuring guitar driven dark melodies and soulful lyrics.)

( ;D --> Sopor Aeternus (Latin: "Eternal Sleep") is a darkwave musical project (probably the deepest of dark bands) based in Frankfurt founded in 1989 by Anna-Varney Cantodea. Since the project's beginnings, Anna-Varney's music has gained notoriety for being extremely personalized, melancholic and pessimistic, drawing on a number of different musical and visual styles to be incorporated into her unique and unusual work. Despite years of media attention in Europe, not much is known about Cantodea and her personal life. All known information has been attained from interviews and publications in print. What is established is that Anna-Varney Cantodea is a pre-operative transwoman, and has decided to remain as such, citing "spiritual conflict" if gender reassignment surgery is performed. Sopor Aeternus also credits the Ensemble of Shadows for her inspirations. These are spirits, beings who she says she receives the musical compositions from. She also works through depression with the aid of her music, as can be heard on the demos, produced at a time when she was gravely ill and at risk of losing her eyesight. She describes her subsequent works as "introverted exhibitionism." They are also expressions of extreme, intense pain.

( ;D --> „I only have one interest: i don’t care if you live or die: I just wanna see you dance!“ This is the motto that made Thomas Rainer create his new musical project NACHTMAHR in 2007. After the Austrian artist has achieved worldwide chart breaking success with his other projects L’AME IMMORTELLE and SIECHTUM in the past 11 years, he returns to his roots: the boiling dancefloors of industrial and goth clubs alike Inspired by numerous years of Djing NACHTMAHR> is the missing link between merciless and provocative Industrial and the hammering power of Techno. The first release “Kunst ist Krieg (=art is war)” and it’s club hit “BoomBoomBoom” instantly conquer the dancefloors and earn the band a slot on the soundtrack of the American block-buster movie SAW 4.)

( ;D --> The Melbourne electro-pop duo Parralox are human beings -- classically trained vocalist Roxy and vintage-synth-obsessed producer John Von Ahlen -- but given the uncanny efficiency and precision of their working methods, it almost seems as if there's something robotic about them. Formed in early 2008, they posted their first song, "I Fell in Love with a Drum Machine," online in February, followed it up with a quick succession of additional tracks, each accompanied by its own artwork and production notes, and completed and released their debut album by the end of the summer.)

( ;D --> Cyanotic is a Chicago-based industrial rock collective fronted by Sean Payne that formed in 2002. Cyanotic is known for its genre-blending work, which fuses traditional industrial beats and vocals with drum n bass, sampling and heavy metal to create a very hard sound. The band's lyrics contain many tongue-in-cheek references to transhumanism.)
