( ;D --> Redshape hides his real identity behind a red mask at all times, even wearing it onstage at his club dates around Europe, which of late there have been many. The man behind the mask lives in Berlin, he does a rocking live act and he’s released half a dozen tracks over the last year on labels such as Delsin, Styrax Leaves and Music Man. Rumours indicates that behind the mask might be the face of a very famous producer indeed.. One things for sure Redshape has studied a lot of Detroit techno records: His sound is a new update on old school templates.)

( ;D --> After the reappearance of electro a couple of years ago an avalanche of bands has flooded the world scene, most of them come from Europe, though the axis seems to be located at Germany where the best acts makes the distinction. Klangstabil is today one of the more applauded and respected representatives from that particular scene, not just in Germany but in the rest of Europe and at least a good portion of the world. A band with no further introduction needed, presenting their later album that should be simply described as a classic, an overly intelligent piece and a paragon for what modern and intelligent EBM electro with brained attitude should stay. Klangstabil acknowledge theirselves as avantgardists above all. From their primal experimentations in abstract electronica, industrial and noise till their most advanced rejuvenation on Electro on their penultimate album “Taking nothing seriously”, they have done an outstanding career that balances them to create original pieces full of emotion, rhythmic cunning and meticulous melodic creativity.)

Rome
www.myspace.com/romecmi
( ;D --> After having played in several underground bands in Luxembourg,singer-songwriter Jerome Reuter almost unintentionally founded ROME in December 2005. The music and lyrical world of ROME is genuinely unique and constantly brilliant. Blending excellent songwriting craftsmanship, unusual arrangements and fine poetry into one monstruous and intimate musical output that combines chanson, dark ambient, apocalyptic folk, pop, acoustic rock, martial industrial, cold wave – all rolled into one impressive avantgarde package.)
Nos Chants Perdus

( ;D --> Over a series of remarkable concept albums, the Luxembourg band Rome has developed a totally unique poetry of longing that gives expression to a comprehensive feeling of modern forlornness. The protagonists of this music are the banished, hunted, despised, and misunderstood firmly in the tradition of Jerome Reuter s declared heroes Jacques Brel, Léo Ferré, Tom Waits, and Nick Cave. Nos Chants Perdus is inspired by world literature, and the observant listener will be able to detect references to and quotations from Albert Camus, Marcel Proust,Jean-Paul Sartre, and Jean Genet.)

( ;D --> Joel Zimmerman doesn’t like being called a DJ. The 28-year-old dance music phenomenon from Toronto, better known as Deadmau5, rolls his eyes a the description, which he sees as a hopelessly outdated way of describing what he does. His sets are closer to live performances. He plays mostly his own material, assembling tracks on the fly, using cutting edge computer technology, including software he’s helped write himself.)

Mentallo and the Fixer

( ;D --> Mentallo and the Fixer is the industrial brainchild of two brothers from Texas, Gary and Dwayne Dassing. Mentallo and the Fixer derived its name from a pair of comic book characters whose origins have long since faded into obscurity. The Dassing brothers were raised on rock music, so their first instruments were actually the guitar (Dwayne) and drums (Gary). However, this changed when the pair discovered a number of new wave bands whose music was heavily saturated with synthesizers. Dwayne specifically lists the Cars, early Orchestral Manouevres in the Dark, and especially Gary Numan as strong influences to Mentallo and the Fixer.)
Enlightenment Through A Chemical Catalyst (Ltd)
M&F_amazon
( ;D --> After a chasm of almost four years, one of the most influential American Electro/Industrial bands of the last 15 years, Mentallo & The Fixer broke the silence earlier this year with the mind-boggling EP Commandments For The Molecular Age, forecasting the band's second phase of electronic anger.
Having always been projecting himself into the future throughout his impressive career and discography, Gary Dassing once again carries us away from the beaten path, bringing us this time closer to the darkest side of the Moon than to the core of the Earth... Avant-garde per definition and dense and powerful per nature, Mentallo & The Fixer's new album offering is challenging the listener with its ultra-complex synth arrangements layered on devastating upbeat sequencer rhythms and haunted distorted vocals. Enlightenment Through A Chemical Catalyst is one hell of an album. It will make your head turn and will guarantee many disturbing listenings! Take up the challenge for yourself and dive into the extreme environment of this album that will definitely appeal to hardcore fans of Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails, and Ministry.)
