( ;D --> Jackson Fourgeaud began making music at the age of 15. After his acid house debut on Pumpking records in 1996, Sound of Barclay records released the "Sense Juice" and "Gourmet EPs" under the name Jackson & His Computer Band. In 2003 his fourth single, album opener "Utopia" was released. "Utopia" and "Radio Caca" feature vocals by his mother, birdpaula, a folk and blues singer. Warp Records picked up on these tracks, released on French imprint Sound Of Barclay, and signed him. "Utopia" from the album Smash, was used in the O2 ‘bubble’ ad campaign. "Minidoux" and "Hard Tits" from the album Smash were used in the Adult Swim "Super Violence Disclaimer," and "AcTN water Tanks" bumpers respectively.)

( ;D --> The musical project tzolk’in is a collaboration between Empusae and Flint Glass - artists who are known in the fields of dark ambient, contemporary ritualistic tribal music and experimental electronica. this project is a conceptual creation inspired by mayan mythology and the ancient mayan astrological calendar of the same name. from the beginning their approach to sound resulted in quite a few novel musical perspectives: the merging of empusae’s distinct dark, oppressive and brooding soundscapes and flint glass’s characteristic rhythmic and ambient compositions (which are seemingly subject to an almost alien purpose and theme). the final product is majestic and epic, often martial and bellicose, with a sense of tragedy that at times is even quite meditative. tzolk’in can easily be viewed as an exotic soundtrack to the phantoms of a dead civilization or more simply put, music that is inspired by a doomed mayan divination system.)

( ;D --> The duo was officially formed in 1993 by Erik Garcia a.k.a. Erk Aicrag (lyrics and vocals) and Oscar Mayorga a.k.a. Racso Agroyam (Programming), but both cousins had been experimenting with electronic music, mixing industrial and EBM, since they were fifteen years old. Their music can be described as electro-industrial. Erk Aircrag and Racso Agroyam incited to express their feelings through technology. Given the influence of varying currents of electronic music (mainly Skinny Puppy) they began their trajectory in 1989 in a project called "Niñera Degenerada". Their lyrics are both in Spanish as well as English. The Spanish word hocico means snout, and is used in Mexico as a disrespectful way to describe someone's comments coming out of their mouth.)

The band reportedly never rehearse together or communicate about their music outside of live sets and studio sessions. Supersilent was formed when the free jazz trio Veslefrekk (Arve Henriksen on trumpet, keyboardist Ståle Storløkken, and Jarle Vespestad on drums) played a concert with producer, live electronics artist and self-described “audio virus” Helge Sten (a.  k.a. Deathprod.)
