He started his own music experiments in 1995 with a basic instrumentation, trying to explore the shores of deep space-ambient music. His first album "Three Lights at the End of the World", composed in 1995, has been released in 1996 by Italian ambient artist Alio Die on his own label, Hic Sunt Leones (Alio Die himself played for one minute in a track of this album). His classic double live album entitled "The Spirals of Time", released in 1997 on Amplexus, has been voted as one of the best ambient albums of all time. Oöphoi used mainly synths and sampling machines, singing bowls, flutes, Theremin, waterphone, processed voices and unusual percussion (woodchimes, stones, shells, crystal chimes); all his music was recorded using analog-only devices in The Kiva, his studio, which used to be a stable in a XV Century stone country house in the hills of central Italy. In 2002 he founded the experimental ambient group Nebula, along with Klaus Wiese, Mauro Malgrande, Lorenzo Pierobon and Tau Ceti. He has released 20+ CDs for many international labels (Hic Sunt Leones, Amplexus, Hypnos, Nextera, Electroshock Records, Skean Dhu, Stella Maris, Aplaus, Mystery Sea), and he ran his own label Umbra, devoted to the music of new Italian ambient artists.)

They have become a staple crossover act, bringing several forms of electro into the mainstream industrial music world. Haujobb was formed in 1993 by Daniel Myer, Dejan Samardzic, and Björn Junemann, pulling the name from the Blade Runner translation of "skin job".
 Along with such other notables as :wumpscut: and VNV Nation, Haujobb are bringing, if possible, an even newer surge of adrenaline to a genre that already seems expanding to burst. Their style a synthesis of industrial electronics and dance music, Haujobb formed in Germany in 1993 around the trio of Dejan Samardzic, Daniel Meier with B. Junemann.

As Resident Advisor reports, Axonometric comes accompanied by a typically abstract explanation from Donald himself, stating that, “electronic music is based on science and the scientific method is utilized in its creation. Theories and hypotheses are put forth and if they are practical and plausible they will be tested to verify them. Some theories work and some don’t, but no theory is considered too abstract.” Comprised of four tracks, Axonometric is slated for a September release, although we’re yet to ascertain on what formats the music will be available.)

( ;D --> Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti formed CHRIS & COSEY out of the ashes of their seminal 70s' Industrial band Throbbing Gristle. Throbbing Gristle (and Carter/Tutti) founded the Industrial music genre and were one of the first bands to successfully fuse electronic and acoustic instrumentation. Their musical legacy is still very much in evidence today. When Throbbing Gristle was terminated in 1981 Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti signed to Rough Trade Records and began recording and performing as CHRIS & COSEY. From the very start they indulgently utilised electronics, sampling, rhythms and Cosey's distinctive vocals, cornet and guitar style. In 1982 (and in collaboration with Rough Trade) they formed their own offshoot record label Conspiracy International (aka: CTI) for their more experimental recordings and collaborative projects. CTI continues to run alongside CARTER and TUTTI's more accessible work.)
