Active since 1979 under the name SUICIDE COMMANDO, the band changes name in 1980 releasing the first demo-tape DAWN... and the self-titled mini-album in late 1981.
The early records contain a mix of synth pop and new wave/dance songs, while towards the end of the 1980s' Kirlian Camera's music has progressively become darker and darker, turning into a monumental electro-gothic sound. Nearly every release since then has explored different fields, from industrial to ambient, from experimental to trip-hop.
Mind of Kirlian Camera has always been Angelo Bergamini, coupled by many female vocalists as Simona Buja (1980-1987), Suzanne Reddington Gardner (1987), Bianca Hoffmann Santos (1988-1989), Emilia Lo Jacono (1990-1999) and Elena Alice Fossi (1999...).)

The Fabric
www.matthewmullane.com/news/2011/1/13/fabric-debut-album-available-for-preorder.html
( ;D --> Matthew Mullane is a Chicago multi-instrumentalist performing under the guise of Fabric. Here we have a fine suite of compositions which embark on a voyage through darkness of night and the brightness of day. Washed-out dark colors and static pulses sweep across your stereo painting a portrait of intense yearning and determination. Recorded over the course of a year, Matthew has constructed a multi-dimensional organism of sound that has perplexing depth and astounding detail.)

Scratches, crackles and human voice put through alchemy of sound. Bass abuse. Church bells conjured out of the sound of breathing. Odd evo/invocative lyrics. Hauntingly disturbing atmospheres, subconscious landscapes.)

Tropic of Cancer
http://tropicofcancer.bandcamp.com
( ;D --> Tropic of Cancer is Camella Lobo & J Mendez, who's probably better known as Sandwell District's Silent Servant. With a Sound of Arcane folk drones and smacked out vocals, driven by Suicide style drum machine minimalism and shuddering within some of the bleakest soundscapes this side of Sun, inspired by a wealth of classic darkside influences to end up with a dank basement sound bearing traces of everything from The Velvets to MBV, with distant drum loops and miserablist guitars trawling the surface. Despite not being remotely techno, the sound perfectly suits the sinisterly irony-free Black country aesthetic.)
The Sorrow of Two Blooms

( ;D --> Blackest Ever Black made an indelible mark on 2010 with a couplet of stunning releases from Raime. This year they open their leathery wings to shelter Tropic Of Cancer aka Camella Lobo and Juan Mendez (Silent Servant) for a midnight mission away from their spiritual home, Regis' Downwards sect. No doubt, this is their strongest material to date: three passionately gothic odes to the romance of misery. There are clear, strong references to the gothic digital minimalism of Martin Hannet's work on Joy Division, and maybe more apt allusions to the skinny Post Punk of Savage Republic, and Faith/Pornography/Seventeen Seconds era The Cure, but unlike many contemporary guardians of this sound, TOC's misanthropy is articulated with exquisite production values closer to those of Grouper or Broadcast, making their introversion that much more tangible and heart-breakingly glorious.)

( ;D --> After nine years of performing in various music projects, producing artists, and remixing, Stephan S. finally created his own personal solo project: Lost in Desire; disregarding any commercial formats, simply expressing emotion, as heavy and dramatic as they feel to him. I want my lyrics to insipre, want you to feel, I want you to dream... I don't want to explain. I want every listener to have their own interpretations, their own images and feelings attached to each song. The first demo recordings of LiD date back to 2006, composed mainly on the acoustic guitar, later augmented with all instruments Stephan likes and plays. A unique, dramatic sound backing Stephan's passionate vocals was created.)

John Maus

( ;D --> John Maus lives in his birthplace of Austin, Minnesota. Whilst working towards his PhD in Political Science he also composes music that taps into melancholic fantasy and affirms that we are all truly alive. Questing synthesisers, tensely strung bass lines and chasing drum machines provide the perfect backdrop for John's deeply resonant reverb-drenched vocal. Born in the decade of synth pop and sharing his birthday with George Frideric Handel, John started making music when Nirvana posters went up on every teenager's wall. It's this curious conflux of influences that partially helps to describe John's music. It's a world where the Germs jam with Jerry Goldsmith, Cabaret Voltaire relocate to Eternia and Josquin des Prez writes a new score for RoboCop. The confrontation of punk, the fleeting poignancy of 80s movie soundtracks, the insistent pulse of Moroder and the spirituality of Medieval and Baroque music all find salvation in John Maus. After a spell working alongside Ariel Pink and Gary War in Haunted Graffiti, 2006 saw the release of John's debut album proper through Upset The Rhythm.)

As a musician Eigner has contributed to hundreds of albums for various artists. Bamonte began working for Depeche Mode from the start of their career in 1980, taking on a varierty of roles before moving on in 1995 to work for The Cure for several years. The trio is completed by singer Florian Kraemmer. Kraemmer, like Eigner a native of Vienna, is the son of an actress and an opera singer, and took classical piano training from the age of eight. To date, he has worked mainly as a TV composer and has preserved his passion for classical music. The trio shares creative equality when they work on their songs. Daryl writes the lyrics, Florian develops the melodies and Christian puts together the powerful music that marks Compact Space with their own unmistakable style as soon as you listen to them. Compact Space has recently signed a worldwide licensing deal with Ferryhouse Productions in Hamburg. The first album "Nameless" and "Push Push" EP will be released simultaneously on 24th June 2011. The album was mixed by Paul 'P-Dub' Walton, and the aesthetics of Compact Space are also visually consistent: Danny Drysdale, who filmed among other things the Killers' hit "Human", made the video for "Push Push".)
